From bottom to top - stand bowl screen lid vent cap.For use as a fire pit: Just place the bowl in the stand and set the other pieces aside.Cooking over this copper pit is completely safe as there are no chemicals used in the base metal; however for your safety the units are cleaned with a solvent prior to packaging. To make absolutely certain that all residual solvent is gone you should burn a normal fire in the pit. After this first fire the pit is primed and ready for cooking. The copper bowls can handle up to 1700 degrees and will not melt.
