A unique four-blade prop decreases water slippage past the blades for increased performance. Using low RPM technology this 1HP motor operates very efficiently and draws only 11.3 running amps for the 120V option and 5.7 running amps on the 240V option. The motor is housed in a stainless steel can that is filled with environmentally friendly oil for excellent heat dissipation. All exposed metal is stainless steel and is protected by a sacrificial zinc anode for corrosion protection and can be used in salt water applications.
