Cheese Triangles

1 pound Feta cheese
2 eggs -- slightly beaten
1/4 cup finely chopped chives
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 (6 ounce) package frozen phyllo sheets -- thawed
1/4 cup margarine or butter (1/2 stick) -- melted

Heat oven to 350º. Grease cookie sheet. Crumble cheese in small bowl; mash with fork. Stir in eggs, chives and white pepper until well mixed. Cut stack of phyllo sheets lengthwise into thirds. Cover with waxed paper, then with damp towel to prevent them from drying out. Use 2 sheets of phyllo for each strip. Place 1 heaping teaspoon cheese mixture on end of strip; fold phyllo strip end over end, in triangular shape, to opposite end. Place on cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining phyllo and cheese mixture. (Triangles can be covered and refrigerated up to 24 hours at this point.) Brush margarine over triangles.

Bake about 20 minutes or until puffed and golden.

Fall for Outdoor Entertaining This Autumn

by Debbie Rodgers

Aaaah, autumn! It's the perfect time to entertain outdoors -- most of the bugs are gone, the sun isn't scorching even though it's warm enough to enjoy an afternoon or evening al fresco, and there's a bounty of good things to serve for an outdoor meal.

Because the days are shorter in the autumn, outdoor entertaining in the fall calls for special attention to lighting and temperature.

Lighting

The earlier sunset will afford you an ideal opportunity to bathe your outdoor space in evening lights. Use soft light, but use plenty of it. Try dozens of votive candles in jars and glasses to protect the flame from the wind, hurricane lamps, or kerosene lanterns set on low. Create cozy seating areas and equip each with a glowing light source. Fall for Outdoor Entertaining This Autumn Recipe

Gas Grills Often Turn Out Dangerous

by Laura Ciocan

Grills, especially gas grills, are an equipment to be used with caution and care, as they may just put you in danger. Most of the times, fires are started by gas tanks of such grills.

No further than November 17, a fire devastated the back porch of a house. It was started from a debris fire that was not completely extinguished and came dangerously close to three propane tanks for a gas grill that Robert Delphia was keeping on the porch. The pressure relief valve on one of the tanks activated, resulting in a loud noise that was initially described as an explosion, but the tanks did not explode. Fortunately, the incident ended quickly without victims or injuries, as the fire was noticed and reported in an incipient stage by the Police Officer on Gas Grills Often Turn Out Dangerous Recipe

Season Your Pans for Non Stick Cooking

by Richard Massey

Nothing is more frustrating than trying to cook a delicious meal and having it stick to the bottom of the pan. A well season or cured pan will make cooking more fun, easier to clean and create better tasting food. There is a saying in the restaurant business; Hot pan – Cold oil. Meaning never put the oil in a cold pan and then heat it up. By heating the pan first and then adding the oil, then immediately the food, you’ll have much less sticking. Furthermore if you season the pan when you first purchase it, you will have even better results.

Curing by metal types

Stainless Steel – Unfortunately stainless steel cannot be seasoned because of the hardness of the metal. A matter of fact I don’t know of a single restaurant which uses stainless ste Season Your Pans for Non Stick Cooking Recipe
