"I LOVE MY PRESSURE COOKER" It heats up so quick and the sixe is just perfect for the two of us. I cooked a roast in it and then cooled it down and put in the veggies. When they were done, the meat was so tendar. We love potatoes cooked in it as they are so soft and yummy... "I'm very satisfied." This order was a terrific bargain! The product is excellent. The results are good. I'm very pleased. I would recommend to prospective buyers that they ascertain their needs first. I should've gotten a 6qt size. Unless you're apt to prepare fairly small meals the 4 qt is small. If you cook for one or two and don't make large meals this 4 qt is ideal. "One cool pressure cooker!" This is my first pressure cooker, and both my boyfriend and I love this. It works fast and cools down quickly, which makes our cooking very efficient. Definately recommended. "new way of cooking" Trying an "old" method of cooking and so far recipes have turned out good. High quality product "Presto pressure cooker" After having to replace my 45 year old Presto pressure cooker, I was happy to find it's equivalent still available although not as heavy as the old one and the handle is very ackward to hold I still like its convenience and not having to learn a new system. Not happy that it is no longer a USA made product, but what's new.

What our customer's say! "Great cooking utility...", My only regret is that I didn't buy one of these sooner. This is a great product. I had heard horror stories about pressure cookers in the past, but these Presto pressure cookers are solid; very well made, and if you follow the directions by watching what you put into it- no jams or anything that would clog the spout, you will love this product.. Never any worries about safety when cooking with this. I think I will get the 6-quart next, as it would be a more useful size for me. "Great product", Was looking around to see is there any way to cook some things faster and I found this Presto Pressure Cooker. I can't imagine how we (my wife and me) did all cooking before! It is soooo faster and easier with this pressure cooker. And the size is right for 2-3 people, I like fresh food and this one as I said is just right capacity for our family of 3. If you fill it at max, you even will have some food for next day, but because the whole cooking takes 15-20 minutes from very beginnings to the end it is no longer concern. Also found that I need to cook usually less time than it is in cookbook. Made in China, but quality is outstanding and overall construction is very sturdy and will last long. I feel it safe enought also, they are 3 different systems integrated so it will not blow in your hands. With no doubt, must have item for every house. I'll get 6-Quart Presto sometime soon to coock large quantities which I will pack using FoodSaver and store in the freezer. It definitely worth every penny and I can't believe it cost only $30. I went to www.gopresto.com and ordered a steamer basket (Item #: 85650 - Stainless Steel Steamer Basket) , the P.Cooker comes with a small separator plate for the bottom. With the exception of the long handle, the look and feel reminds me of the one my Mother used(presto)(and still uses) from the 1960's. Arrived quickly from Amazon...I'm a happy puppy! "Save gas and electricity! - Time tested. Great for smaller portions.", Gas and electricity has gone up so much lately. Pressure cookers can help you save by making cooking a lot much faster. We want this smaller pressure cooker for smaller portions. We use the bigger one if we are expecting guests. Small means easier to clean and easier for wife to handle. It comes with a compact user guide and a small cookbook. Pressure cookers can be dangerous, so make sure to read the safety precautions. Never fill it more than 2/3. And do not remove the rocker when the pressure valve has not gone down. Pros: - Stainless steel. You do not want aluminum for health reasons. - We own also a 6-quart Presto that has been working for several years now - Although not as cheap as we want it to be, if you compare it to other manufacturers, you will still save some money. I had a much older model that I had for many years and can no longer repair because it is out of date--- so I got a new one. I especially like the stainless steel compared to the old one that was aluminum based. "Very useful cooker, it serves its' purpose well", This 4Q pressure cooker is just nice for a small family. Pressure builds up quickly and food is ready to be served in a short time. This cooker is made of stainless steel and it is very heavy duty. I strongly recommend this pressure cooker to those who have busy schedule yet want to have home-cooked meals. "Hurry up & cook", My old MirroMatic pressure cooker was over 40 years old & I decided it was time for a replacement. Instead of the old all aluminum pan I decided to get the stainless steel pan for ease of cleaning. What a difference! The aluminum core on the bottom provides the even heating, & the stainless steel makes for the easiest of cleaning. I really enjoy the rocker weight on top instead of my old weight with 3 different pressure settings. This one is so much quieter, too. Tonight, I'm making Swiss steak with only 18 minutes of cook time. You can't beat that. The cool down time is much faster than with the old aluminum pan also. I should have bought this years ago. "Great Pressure Cooker", This Presto Pressure Cooker is all it's cracked up to be. It is very important that the user reads the instruction booklet, completely. The ability to create soups and stews in a short period of time and at the same time, this method of cooking keeps the nutrients from depleting. Cooking the veggies, such as beets and other root veggies, the cooking time is diminished considerablyin the cooker. |
