Others say...
"great value" so many shapes! Plastic but they're nice - not just simple shapes, there's levels to them so that you get imprinted details. Great for cookies and cheap enough for just using them for playdoh - if you don't happen to be a baker. But silly me, I thought they'd be coming in a bowl shaped package - they don't - you'll have to use a shoe box or something to hold them all. "Excellent" Great Product, even better price. These cookie cutters (which we used as play-doh cutters) are great. They are very well made, and come in a huge variety of shapes. The colors are very basic which keep them from looking dated. I would highly recommend these to anyone who needs an item like these. "Everything you need practically" This was just delivered, even though I purchased it from Amazon over a month ago. I really wanted the train cookie cutter, but realized I could use the other shapes for my son's play doh & various occasions. Now, just where to find room in my kitchen for it all. "I'll let you know when I get them" I know when I ordered I had read the review that gives the sizes range of the cutters and the list of what is included, but I never noticed the comments about the delay in delivery. Here I am looking at almost 90 days and still waiting for my shipment. Will our little ones still be young enough to enjoy the crafts and the cookies? "SLOW DELIVERY" I have to say when I ordered this item for a christmas present for someone on Nov 16 I thought hey I'm ahead of the curve... Not So. An item that was in stock took until THE week before christmas to ship and didn't arrive until two days after everyone had left - including the recipient! Lucky I had forethought to order other items for this person, but come on - a 100 piece plastic cookie cutter set that was in stock couldn't make it to the tree when it was ordered more than a MONTH IN ADVANCE. Amazon falling flat on it's face! THis was not an Item that was ordered second had either. I'm severely dissapointed in Amazon this time!

Amazon.com offers this stuff with condition New, new for:
What our customer's say! "Something for everyone", This set of cookie cutters has a little bit of everything...animals, letters, numbers, planes, trains and automobiles, geometric shapes...something for every occassion. My kids and I just love it! "cookie cutters", i have only used these cookie cutters and besides a few that are hard to get the pieces out, i have no complaints. they come in a good variety of shapes which is also very useful, not an over abundance of just holiday shapes. i love that there is the alphabet and all the numbers. "Cookie Nutters For You!", This set of cookie cutters comes in a handy black office style case which is convenient if you want to take it all to a senile Grandmas' house to bake cookies or shape mud. Many fun designs include pigs, body parts, birds, Halloween shapes and others. Made of Plastic aluminum and does not rust. A worthy addition to any kitchen or madman's house. "The sizes vary a lot, some have built-in imprints/embossing", I got these a while ago but I haven't used them for cookies yet. The sizes range quite a bit. The shapes are the largest, and the letters and numbers are the smallest. The letters and numbers are bigger than the Howard's bugs cookie cutters. There are built-in imprints on some of the cutters. These are so that when you cut the cookie, there will be an imprint of the cutter design on it. Because of the imprint part, should the dough get stuck, you will have problems getting it out. My husband took some to use with playdoh and he really liked the ice cream cone, which has a nice cone criss-cross imprints. It worked okay with the playdoh. I think the best way to avoid problems to is make sure your dough is rolled the right thickness, and that it is firm enough to hold together, but has enough "fat" in it to not stick to the cutter. I would suggest spraying the cutters with PAM to help it not stick, and very lightly flouring the top surface of the rolled out dough before cutting. I like that these are plastic and that you can put them in the dishwasher. It would be pain to handwash all of them, especially if there is dough stuck in the imprint parts. I did handwash them when I first got them, and that took a while. I also dried them by hand then left them out to finish up drying. They don't rust so that is another good thing. There are several different themes with these cutters, so you can make cookies year round for the holidays. Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Valentines, Halloween, shapes, things that move (airplane, helicopter, boat, etc), animals, sports, numbers, letters, the musical note, and other symbols like the question mark round out the versatility of the cutters. I think there is also a a guitar if I recall correctly. For the price you can't go wrong as there is 100 cutters here. Even if you don't use them much, it's still a good value. I think you could use them for fondant too. "Wish I'd gone with Wilton's 100-piece set!", Here's the deal -- I'm a sucker for the free shipping option. So I went with these cookie cutters (which cost less and had free shipping) instead of my gut -- I had borrowed the Wilton cookie cutters from someone else, but I figured: How different can they be? Here's how: 1. The Wilton cookie cutters are larger in scale, so for little hands, it makes them easier to use and larger cookies for easier decorating. 2. One-third (I counted) of the non-letter Rosco cutters have those insets other folks have mentioned, making them useless for making cookies (because you'd have to literally dig out the cookie dough from those parts). I kept them for my little girl, in case they'll work with her play clay ... but it sure makes them pointless for cookies. 3. Unlike the other reviewers, my Rosco cutters arrived promptly. But again, I wished I'd spent a bit more on the Wilton cutters. Have fun using your cutters, whichever you choose! ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Looking forward to the delivery", My goodness people are rather uptight. I doubt it's amazon causing the delay... I'm sure they want to sell the product and collect the $$, I'm sure they've been as "upfront" as possible it's just the product must be backordered...it happens. I've been waiting too but if one does not want to wait simply cancel the order (they make this super easy to do)...you have not been billed yet. Report to BBB?? what would you report? ...if the wait is too long don't buy. :) they have kept us posted along the way.... Too funny... "Maybe someday...", Maybe someday I will actually receive this item. I ordered in July and September 12 and still nothing. Now it says late October - early November expected delivery. OMG! Can I report this to the BBB? "Good, but worth the wait?", The cutters are very good. They are a high quality plastic and can stand up to the use of a 3 year old's help in the kitchen! They make great cookies, but they also make fun shapes out of sandwiches. However, are they worth the wait? I borrowed my first set from a friend. I found the only place I could order them was from Amazon, and so I did -- the first order was in June, and by August I hadn't seen them yet. I cancelled the order and tried other vendors to no avail. So I re-entered the order on August 16, and it's Sept.7, and they tell me I shouldn't expect them until October! Shame on Amazon for not being more up front about this tremendous delay! "FUN, FUN, FUN!", This is a very fun product. I make dog biscuits and its fun to make them into differnt shapes. This set is perfect for that!!! Lots of fun shapes and lots of size choices too. The cutters don't work well with dough that has nuts in it, but other than that, its great! I love the ice cream and t-rex cutters. "roshco cookie cutters are a big hit", I have not used the cookie cutters for cookies yet. I purchased them for our 6 year old son who likes to use them with play dough while learning his alphabet. It makes it a fun learning experience for him. There are also numbers which can be used for the same thing. I am happy with the quality of the product. I was also satisfied with the service and ordering process. The shipment of the product was quick too. ![]() |
