"Water tastes the same" I have tried this product with two different types of water and it tasted the same. It is just an expensive jar. "Brita Pitcher" Great item! Works great!! Love it! I love being able to drink the water out of my kitchen faucet rather than buying plastic bottles from the store! Thank You!! "Very good water and saves a lot on bottled water" I used to go through a case of bottled water in about 2 weeks, and it was getting expensive. A friend of mine had a Brita water filter, and after having some of the water from that I decided to buy one for myself. I have to say that I've had mine for little over a month and I have to say that I am really happy that I bought the this! The water tastes great, practically no difference from bottled water. The size is perfect for my mini fridge in my dorm room, and it fits right in the door. It is also easy to use as you just flip a part of the lid in the back and poor water directly into the reservoir (where the pre-filtered water sits before it is filtered). It doesn't take too long to filter the water, and I can usually fill the entire thing in about 5 minutes. You can then pour water directly from the Brita, making it very easy to use (it also doesn't look to bad either). In the entire time that I've had it I had one (literally one) black particle come from the filter, and it was easy to see and get rid of. As far as durability I dropped it once in the parking lot, and while the lid came up and bit and the filter popped out, there doesn't seem to be any damage to it and it works just fine. Overall I am very happy that I bought it, and I would highly recommend it! "Brita Water Pitcher " This product is easy to use. However, I don't think there is a way to gauge the purity of the water. It does pass the taste test. "It's Excellent, and BETTER Than the Older One." The older model got broken - not sure how. it looked like this one but was slightly larger i believe. i never liked it, it was too heavy and was slower to filter. This Atlantis model is terrific: light, filters quickly WITHOUT ANY remains, so your water is pure, 100% pure and the bad taste is completely gone. i like it, it is elegant and lovely. i won't talk about how good the filter/pitcher invention is in general, but about the model itself. So Atlantis is RECOMMENDED.

What our customer's say! "The cap needs to stay on better", I love the flavor of the water and the ease of use but the cover needs to be tighter. If all the water hasn't been filtered through and you go to pour through the spout, the cap comes off and a mess ensues. The only minor problem is is sometimes spills a little if you don't pour carefully. The water tastes great, and we use it all the time at home, now only using bottled water for on-the-go. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY UPGRADING TO THE BRITA DELUXE OR BRITA CHROME: The Brita Deluxe has an indicator light to signal you to change filters however it goes off after a set amount of time rather than the actual usage of the filter. I got one as a gift and prefer the standard model. The light just gets annoying, especially when you know you don't need to change the filter yet. The chrome model also has the annoying light and is more difficult to clean (my sister has it). If you have more than one person in the house, or if you drink a lot of water, I would suggest buying the larger size. Or you can do what we do. We bought another large refillable bottle that we keep filled with the filtered water while the Brita is doing its job. You can often get great deals on the replacement filters if you keep your eyes open for sales, and it's definitely worth it to buy the 3 pack of filters. Definitely rinse the filter twice before you use it. "Safe and Good Tasting Water. I Like that", Don't trust your water? Filtered or not, this pitcher will make you sure it's safe. Pour the water in and it'll filter it again.It reduces copper and gets rid of 99% of lead in water. Tap water can't be trusted for you and your family. Make sure you know what you're drinking before you put it to your lips. You shouldn't risk your health and the health of the ones you love. This pitcher is designed to help you clean the water you drink. Plus, this is one darn product that is easy as pie to use and you get good tasting water to boot. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Saves money on bottled water.", I've been using this pitcher for just over a week, and I'm happy with the taste of the water it filters. I'll definitely be spending much less on bottled water. As other reviewers have pointed out, though, the filter does not lock in and so it's quite easy for it to slip out when you're filling/pouring from the pitcher. It takes some getting used to. Also, when pouring, you must do it carefully as pouring too quickly makes the water go everywhere due to that little "flap" over the spout. "Brita is a glorified water bottle", And nothing else. Brita (and PUR, for that matter), make this product look slick and stylish, but there's not much inside that can make your water taste good. This is your classic placebo effect. The cartridge inside has carbon and taste enhancing media, which will grow mold or bacteria VERY FAST, and don't do much of a filtration. That is true for all Brita pitchers. Anybody who's slightly serious about water filtration will look somewhere else for products that are of better quality. As someone already mentioned, if you are not careful, a bacteria or mold that WILL GROW in the cartridge will make you sick. That is why Brita recommends replacing cartridge every 2 months....basically you will spend money on changing cartridges that cost pennies to make, and did I mention THEY DON'T DO MUCH OF A WATER FILTRATION. Don't believe me, ask any water filtration specialist to confirm this. Because of poor quality, health hazards and the fact that it actually doesn't do what it is supposed to (filter water), I should give this product -1 (minus one) star. But it looks good and fits a fridge, so that turns a scale into a +1. But not much more. "very happy with my purchase", The filtered water tastes very good. Also I like the style of the water pitcher. I would recommend it to anyone. "Review Brita Water Pitcher", This is an excellent product. It arrived in just a few days and was well packed. "nasty flavor", I don't know how it is with other people, but my filtered water tastes nastier than without the filtering. So, I was having the assumption that this super awesome filter would also filter out the nasty chlorine flavor but it seems to not be able to do so. I do not recommend this product if you live in NV! |
