"THIS VACUUM DOES ALL IT SAYS AND MORE! LOVE IT~" I WILL BE GETTING ANOTHER ONE TO KEEP ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF MY HOUSE. I OWN A HAIR SALON AND I USE IT TO PICK UP ALL THE STRAY HAIRS THAT THE BROOM LEAVES BEHIND AND IT WORKS MORE THAN GREAT! IT WILL PICK UP SURFACE CAT HAIR AND SMALL DIRT PARTICLES FROM STAIRS (ON CARPET) BUT WILL NOT DO A GOOD DEEP CLEAN - IF THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. EXCELLENT FOR AREA RUGS AND BARE FLOORS! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. "I love this vacuum" This is the only little cordless I've found that can suck up all the hair from my sheep dog without getting clogged. It even picks up the birdseed from my messy little parrot. I love this vacuum and I am getting a second for downstairs. "Great little picker upper" I've had this little guy a couple days and so far, I love it! For the cost (I paid $29.99 at Target) it is a great value. Like others say, don't expect this to replace your regular vacuum (mine is a Dyson), but it picks up dirt, dust, and dog hair in a jiffy because it's so light and cordless. The head is a little narrow, but worlds better than the hand vac I was using because of the additional sucking power, handle, and lower noise level. I removed the handle and easily vacuumed our carpeted stairs (ugh, so awful using a Dyson for that). There's the usual complaint about the dust explosion when you empty the bin, but I have yet to see any small vacuum engineer come up with the solution to this. The only caveat I can see is that I'm pretty sure this won't last more than a year or 2 given that I'll be using it at least 2-3 times a week. I wouldn't have minded paying a little more to have a product that was more sturdily constructed. "Good for Quick Pick-Ups" I have been very pleased with this little vac. I run it through the kitchen and bathrooms almost daily for hair pick-up and it works great on the hard surface floors and small throw rugs. I only gave this 4 stars due to two small design "flaws" (perhaps they are user issues). The first being the button that clicks the base back into the stick, it is a little small and it doesn't feel like it really locks the unit in. For some reason I also have a tough time fitting the filter back into the unit properly after emptying it, but neither of those issues are a big deal to me. It is a good product for the price and it arrived in one business day! "great for small pick-ups" I would not make this my only vacuum cleaner (unless I lived in a New York City apartment) but it is great to use for quick clean-ups. It can mount on the wall (you always know where it is, and it is always charged!), it comes with a spare battery (which we have not needed to use yet), and it is very light yet powerful. We had an old Eureka cordless vacuum which finally died after 15 years, and are thrilled with the new replacement.

What our customer's say! "Eureka 96B", This is a great little addition to your normal house vacuum. For the small or light job this is perfect. The two batteries are a real improvement over the older model. I hope they last forever. Clean-up is easy, unless some yarn is caught in the beater bar. The only slight complaint would be the stick needs to be moved or the unit is hard to attach to the charger. "A good, strong cordless vacuum", This is second Eureka 96B I have purchased. Other than the vendor (True Value) shipping a purple color when the photo and prior one was black, it is an excellent cordless vacuum. Lots of power and easy to use, also does not scratch wood floors. "Handy, dandy little vac", For quick pick-ups on either hard or carpeted floors, this little unit works very well. It is a cordless, so suction wise, it won't replace my central vac, BUT it works great for in-between cleanings. I was skeptical about whether or not it would actually work on carpeted floors (as this is the 4th cordless/stick vac I have tried) but it DOES! I have low - med pile carpet and it nicely picks up the cat hair and the little messes my toddler seems bent on leaving for me! You do have to bend down to turn it on/off and switch between roller off (hard floors) and on (carpet), but other than that, I have no complaints after using it for a few weeks. It is certainly A LOT lighter than my central vac or the regular vac I used to have. "This Handy Dandy Vacuum Really SUCKS!", I bought this vacuum about two weeks ago and LOVE it! I had been eyeing stick vacuums for a while, as I was disgusted with using a standard broom. With pets and children, it always amazes me the amount of crud that ends up on my floors. I purchased a cheapy model at KMart and returned it the very next day. After reading various reviews, I decided on this particular model. Ship time was extremely fast. I charged the battery as directed and was anxious to try it out. Assembly was simple and straight-forward. It is quiet, light and easy-to-navigate. Suction is great! When I emptied the bag-less container, I was shocked at the amount of dust, hair and grime the little vacuum picked up. For those who say it has no suction power, I totally disagree! I vacuumed my entire house (4 bedrooms) and then vacuumed the next day on one charge. The only negative comment I have is that the button to open the receptacle is a little hard to open/shut. This vacuum may not be the best choice for heavy-duty jobs. But if you are like me, and like a clean floor and are disgusted with brooms, I highly recommend this handy-dandy gadget! "Best cordless vacuum!", I bought this cordless vacuum (Eureka 96 D, newer version)a couple months ago and I love it! the suction is good and it's very light weight(looks good too!). I have a 4yr old at home and there is always crumbs of everything on my tile floors and this little vacuum does a great job picking it all up. It also works good on carpets (not as great as your original powered vacuum) but its great for quick pickups and it definetly replaces a broom!... by the way I gave it 4 stars because, even though it's a good vacuum, It wont go underneath furniture too low to the floor, like the swivel sweeper, (but the swivel I will never buy again because I had to replace it twice, so dont buy it.) 
Read this reviews before You buy... "I could not be more pleased!", I live in a New York City studio and this product could not be any better for me. It is compact and easy to store out of view, it has very good suction both on carpet and wood floor areas, and it is not too noisy. I love it! "If you a child/children at home, it is like a helping hand", The vaccume does its job just fine. I do not generally write review about products, but on this one it is a must. My son was around 6 months, we were struggling to find a solution to keep the area clean where he eats and makes a mess. This vaccume came as another helping hand in the home. We bought it as another tool quickly clean the mess that he will make. We had two other vaccumes in home, one regular carpet vaccume and another canister style but both were not the right fit for the job. This vaccume is so light and handy that you can use it as many times you want. It doesnt have lot of power but it suffices the need. As soon as you see things lying around, you just clean the mess with a quick swoosh. It is really very easy to take the battery out and put the charged battery back. It has become a must to have tool in our house. I give it a all 5-star, which it really deserves. Hope this will help new parents and others. "Awesome little machine!", Eureka 96 B Quick Up Upright Cordless Stick VacuumThis is a great quick pick up vac. It has a rotating head that picks up pet hair in a snap. It is really light and always ready because you hang it on the wall..and no bags. I find it great for the matress and the couch too. The rotating head makes this machine really useful and what a great price! I bought one for my 84 year mom as well. She loves it. Buy it and enjoy vacuuming (as much as you can enjoy it:) "Blue Ribbon Winner", Got this little miracle at a Thrift Store for $3 with charger & two batteries. It was filthy & the power nozzle was jammed. Cleaned, charged, got a new belt at Granger ($1), installed it (easy & enjoyable way to kill an hour (instead of at the Casino)). We have 2 black dogs & 2 multi colored cats, 2000 sq. ft of wall to wall carpet & two bathrooms, a big kitchen and carpeted stairs. Big house: lotsa dirt, dust, pet hair & I am messy. The Eureka Cordless, bagless, weightless, troubleless, 96B gets used 2 or 3 times a day because it is just such a pleasure to let it do its thing. The amount of debris in the cup is truly shocking. We had no idea we were so dirty. Light, handy, easy to use, clean, repair, store, I am so in love with it my wifey will not be surprised to see it in our bed!! To me 'Made in China' means 'avoid.' Not in this case--we couldn't be happier. Wish Eureka would make a full sized model with 18 volts. I use it on the linoleum in my kitchen (almost daily) and on the hardwood throughout the rest of the house. It is light, easy to empty and clean the filter. My only complaint it does not fit in tight spaces. I used to have a Shark where the beater at the end was removeable. Other than that, it does a great job. |
