"Old Time Soda Shop Mixer" Purchased this mixer as a 13th birthday gift to my granddaughter. She LOVES malts and is delighted she can now make all her sodashop creations with her very own mixer. "Works Great" I use it to mix protein shakes and it takes less than a minute to mix milk, soy milk, protein powder, and any other supplements I need into a great creamy milkshake. I've used a blender to do this for years. I must have been an idiot. The blender never produced the consistent creamy, thick consistency. Great Product for a cheap price. "Just get a blender" I received this for my wedding, in fact it was something I registered for. In nine years I've used it maybe twice. I was just digging it out of my closet to sell at a garage sale when it dawned on me that maybe I was using it wrong so I came to Amazon to read reviews and descriptions. Everything confirmed my memory. It seems like this would be a cool thing to make milkshakes in, it's not. You'd get better results (faster too) just using a spoon, with way less clean up. If you still have to have one, come to my garage sale and I'll sell it to you for a dollar O.B.O. "lee's milkshake maker" works great as long as the ice creme is not really frozen . it bogs down if it's frozen ! "Excellent" All I can say is it's a great investment. I really enjoyed mine. I use it every day.

What our customer's say! "Mixer", This would be fine for juice drinks but I was wanting a smaller "blender" type for milkshakes. The glass isn't very large and you can't make much drink or it will go everywhere! It wasn't very suitable for my needs but I think it might be ok for others. "Piece of junk", This is a complete piece of garbage. Not worthy of $3 much less $30, doesnt mix. The part that mixes is like a little bitty plastic piece that doesnt do anything. Had to ship it back for a refund... "Too Fun", Bought this for my husband for father's day. Being an ice cream/milkshake fanatic, he makes milkshakes almost every evening for the entire family. He just loves it and we have had so much fun with this item. It does a great job for us. "Malted milk maker", I love it. Every afternoon, I make an ice cream malted milk dring and it tastes just like the ones I remember from the old ice cream store. It's well built and works great. "Excellent Product", I am very pleased with this product. It is an excellent value for the price, very good looking & well made. Performs very well. I would definitely recommend this product. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Milkshake maker", We got the Hamilton Beach Drinkmaster for our grandson's 11th birthday because he's a kid who likes to do things for himself and this is a product that a kid can use and not make a big mess. It makes real milkshakes like you get at the ice cream store. "What a Joke!", We won this mixer as a door prize. I would have rather had the door instead! Anyway, this is just another example of cheap plastic Chinese import garbage. Hamilton Beach used to stand for quality years ago, but this is an absolute joke. First of all, it is made entirely of plastic, not metal. The word "Chrome" in the description is very misleading. It is "Chrome" plated plastic. Second, it has absolutely NO power! It cannot handle hard ice cream, so it can't make a decent milk shake. Third, it is top heavy and very prone to tipping over. Do yourself a favor and go to EBAY and buy an old classic HB milkshake machine. They were built to last a lifetime and are still readily available. "hamilton blender", We received it right away, sooner then I thought. Been using it a lot. Really like it. "Very Disapointed", It is advertized to make ice cream shakes and don't do squat when it comes to ice cream... I ordered on the internet because I couldn't find Hamilton Beach in my area... In the past Hamilton beach has been what I liked best and always chosen... I'm very disapointed with the results and I gave it for a gift which in my opinion makes it even worse... Hamilton Beach needs to step up to the plate and correct this or improve their porducts... I've been buying Hamilton Beach products for 40 years... Plus now I'm very disapointed with internet shopping next time I'll buy local so it can be returned easily.... Thank you asking my opinion "Great Shakes Alive!", Marvelous gadget. I have used it every day since it arrived. Easily cleaned, compact and sturdy. |
