"Featuring incompatible bags for the Handi-Vac"
These bags will work well with the conventional foodsaver but not with the Reynolds Handi-vac. These bags were recently featured with the Handi-vac. I was stupid enough to believe they would work and bought the quart and gallon size bags. I returned them. I found the proper bags somewhere else for a heck of a lot less money.

"Perfect size"
I've been using the FoodSaver for two years now. I use it quite a bit for packing meat, separating larger quantities of food into smaller packs, and keeping nuts fresh, among many other things.

When I first got it, I used the included roll to make my own bags, but the hassle of that wore thin very quickly. I bought my first box of the quart size bags and never looked back.

The quart size is the only size I ever buy -- it is perfect for almost everything. Not too small, not too big, just like that story with the bears and the porridge.

I still haven't used up that original roll. I doubt I ever will given how well these bags are working for me.

"Handy."
Not sure how economical the bags are, but they do come in handy if you have lots of items to pack that fit well into that particular bag size.

"Save lots of $$ when you vacuum seal"
Vacuum sealing is the best way to preserve food. Wouldn"t run a kitchen without it

"Just Right"
I'm a solid fan of the FoodSaver, and these bags are just the right size for my needs -- a serving for two. I also use the rolls, but frankly, the bags are a lot quicker if you don't mind the added cost. I have had no problem with the bags breaking or not sealing.

What our customer's say!

"Would give it zero stars if possible", I have no problems with the Foodsaver rolls ... those seem to work flawlessly. These pre-made bags, however, have been next to worthless. Perhaps I just received a bad batch but only about one out of every 5 bag will even begin to evacuate much less hold a seal. Those that do evacuate typical lose their seals after a while. I'm sticking with the rolls from now on.

One positive is that I can use the box these came in to store bags I've made from the rolls for later reuse. Other than that, these bags have been frustrating in the extreme!

"Works great every time.", I actually use these with a Rival Seal-a-meal vacumn sealer. They work great every time. They vacumn and seal easily. I've even re-used bags three and four times. I hate to use more plastic, but love the results. I try to salve my conscience by making sure I recycle all the bags when they're no longer usable. I've tried using cheaper bags from Wal-Mart, and had nothing but trouble. The Rival seal-a-meal bags actually work fine too, they're just harder to find.

"Foodsaver quart bags", Keep a supply of Foodsaver bags on hand. Love my Foodsaver!
Received product promptly.

"Food Saver Quart Bags", We love the Tilia system for packaging food for the freezer. These quart bags are the size we use the most, and the prices for them on Amazon are the best we have found.

"Great Freezer Storage", Food saver bags are the best items for freezer storage. We use them to breakup family packs into smaller packages for storage and subsequent money money savings. Great service and quick delivery!

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Great product", I was skeptical at first because I thought the bags might be too small. I bought them anyway and I'm really glad I did! I saved money, the bags are perfect for meat portions for a family of three or four, and they have many other uses as well. The bags are a big time saver over the continuous rolls and well worth the money. They also make it very easy to repackage frozen vegies, which then keep much longer in the freezer.

"Doesn't Vacuum Seal Very Well - Update", I recieved the FoodSaver Vaccuum Seal system as a gift along with two 11" continous roll bags. They worked great but were kind of big for some of the food that I was trying to vacuum and seal so I bought the premade package of 48 quart size bags. I have had nothing but issues with those bags since I got them. They will not vacuum and seal correctly. When I make my own bag with the continious roll material the vacuum and seal works great but not with the quart bags. Even when I have tried both types on the same night, the continious self made bag works the quart bag does not. The vacuum system works well but the quart bags do not. They look and feel like they are made from the same material. The only difference is that the quart bags are about half the width of the 11" bags and they don't stretch across the whole vacuum seal area like the 11" bags do but the manufacturer does mark-off where the optimum vacuum seal area is so you can make sure your bag covers that area and the quart bag does stretch across that area but still will not vacuum and seal. I am just going to buy the 11" roll and make my own bags.

I couldn't just throw the bags aways so I kept looking for a way to make these work and finally found it. If you take the bag out and crumble it up into a ball, basically wrinkling it up, than it works like a champ in the foodsaver. Once I discovered this I have tried it about 15 times and each time it has worked great.

"time saver", I wish I had tried these a long time ago. They are absolutely great.

"Food Saver 1 Quart size bag 48 count", Very convienent to use and dependable

"FoodSaver saves time", When you work all week, I cook on the weekends and with the foodsaver bags I can put platters in the freezer and defrost
in the microwave and have a home cooked meal instead of a
frozen dinner. It's Great
