"food save vac bags"
the bags are the recomended food saver brand that I have always used. They are a heavier bag than some that you buy in a store. The price from Amazon was excellent and delivery time was as promised. Also they carry a greater selection of sizes than anywhere else.

Save time running around trying to find the bags for the vac machine. Very convenient and quick shipment.

Along with the V2440 food saver, these bags work fantastic. They're very thick and the vacuum created is unbelievable. I have a box type deep freezer and now can dig around to find what I want. No ripped bags. No frost in the bag that prevents content identification. Of you course you can also write on the bag.

The roll of bag material is strong and does just what it says it will do. No complaints here.

"Best Vac Sealer Bags"
The rolls, for me, are more economical than pre-made bags. Contrary to a couple of other reviewers, I find the 8" wide roll the preferred size. We buy hot dogs in bulk from a local packer and split them up into packages of 6 each and freeze them. I also buy meat such as chicken breasts or pork chops in bulk when they are on sale and freeze them individually. (Perfect for the 2 of us.) Less waste than if we used pre-made bags. 100's of other uses.

I have tried other brands of bags, and they just don't work as well, especially those sold under WM's brand name.

Please Note: Yes, you can wash and re-use them, but NOT if you have stored raw meat in them.
