"Small Toaster Convection Oven Big on Quality"
Great product. Works well and is well constructed. Only one issue, the crumb tray slides out toward the back, very inconvenient.

"Great Item"
After buying a number of cheaper toaster ovens that performed poorly, I decided to splurge and get this one. It is definitely worth the money. It looks great on the counter and performs exactly as promised.

"My Replacement"
So far so good as I love this oven. It does my toast and warms it up if I am not ready. Cooks a roast and bakes a pie which is great this summer as the kitchen doesn't get as warm if I used the regular oven. Yes, it definitely makes enough toast for company. No waiting! I am still experimenting and hoping for more wonderful experiences

"Toaster oven that can't toast"
So, after having a cheap Black and Decker toaster oven for years, we decided to be more grown up and get a new, fantastically expensive toaster oven. This was it. Problem is, no matter where we place the rack, we can't seem to toast the bread evenly. If the rack is at the bottom, it produces burnt toast on one side, and no toast on the top. In Position "B," it toasts the top and not the bottom. We found, however, that this is great for cooking frozen foods (like fish sticks), but sucks as a toaster. We had to go out and buy one of the old school toasters by Oster to suit our bread toasting needs. What a shame. It looks so pretty and grown up on our countertop. If you like making complex meals in a toaster oven, this might be a great buy for you. If you secretly want a nice product that you'll just use for its toasting capabilites, save your money and get a $20 toaster or toaster oven. This one won't work for you.

"Very nice Convection Oven"
We got this when our last toaster died. It's very easy to use and heats very evenly. My technology averse wife has very quickly got the hang of the buttons, which was a great relief since she uses it the most.

Heats evenly and is easily large enough for 4 bagel halves

What our customer's say!

"Convection toaster oven", I bought this little beauty a few weeks ago and have now had the opportunity to use all of its features: broiling, convection baking and convential baking (of course, just plain toasting too). It does an oustanding job on convection baking (chicken, game hens, small leg of lamb, etc.) and broiling (salmon steaks, chicken breasts, etc.). This is now my very favorite small appliance and I absolutely love it! Dinner guests are very impressed too:-) It is small enough so it doesn't take up too much counter space and is very attractive and streamlined looking and easy to clean. You cannot go wrong with this little beauty and its versatility, and it's perfect for a one or two person household.

"A little pricey, sure, but it's just such a great freakin' toaster", You could definitely buy a cheaper toaster and be happy as a clam. But my aunt has this one and I've loved it for years - well designed, smooth moving doors, great functionality and design of buttons/temp/timing control. Love it. We always had Delonghis growing up and they were good too, but this is better. So if you are feeling a little extravagant, go ahead and get it. If not, you'll still get some great toast (and pizza and baked potatoes)

"A great toaster oven!", I purchased this a year ago as a replacement for a black and decker toaster oven that we had owned forever. The TOB-175BC is wonderful and I would wholehearted recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a quality toaster oven. It is simply terrific!

"Best toaster oven I ever had", My husband thought this was a little pricey, butI got it anyway. He loves it, and so do I. Toast, rolls and bagels come out perfect. I haven't used the convection oven features yet.

"Cuisinart convection Toaster Oven", The toaster oven is fine for what I've had time to use it for and is the best of all the other brands that I checked before buying. I do miss the totally automatic off feature that I had on my previous one (Krups) - that toaster oven turned off when programmed cooking time completed. Unfortunately, that is the feature that went haywire necessitating replacement. The Cuisinart turns off automatically after it's been on for 4 hrs. It does have a sharp beeping signal to let you know when cooking time has completed like a timer on a stove. It is an attractive applicance and the touch pad control panel lets you program exactly what you need with many options.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Good, Bad and Ugly (Okay it's not ugly)", The good is it is exactly what I had been looking for. I have never had a "Toaster" that worked well. This appliance does great.

The bad is that the instructions are terrible. We had to figure out how the thing works by trial and error (not to difficult). Also, it is a pain to clean

"glass exploded after three years of light use", I bought this unit in November 2005. I thought I would use the oven features often, but it just hasn't worked out that way. I mainly use this for toast on the weekends. I haven't been unhappy with it, but for just toast I could have spent a lot less than 200 dollars. Last weekend, my husband made toast it it, and when he opened the glass door, it shattered into a million pieces. It sounded like an explosion!! On the plus side, cuisinart customer service seems reasonable. They are sending me a new unit, but I have to pay shipping and handling to send the broken one back. Also, the warranty is only three years from date of manufacture, unless you can prove the exact date you bought it. Thank God that Amazon saves your orders so I did have proof of when I bought it. Who saves receipts for three years???? I'm kinda wondering why I would want another of the same unit that exploded on me in less than three years of light use, though.

"Read the manual - you'll love this product", Rated high and did not disappoint. Highly recommend reading the manual to set tray different uses. Bagels, english muffins and toast have all come out perfectly. Baked brownies on convection - aok. That's it so far.

"Superb from Cuisinart ", We had been using an older toaster oven, and firing up the big oven more often than we wanted, but this item is fantastic. We haven't used the main oven in our kitchen since buying this. Takes a little reading of the instruction manual to get it all down before starting, but well worth the investment of time. We had seen that Consumer Reports ranked this the highest model, regardless of price and the deal on Amazon was too good to pass up.

"My favorite appliance", I've had this product for over a year and still love it. It provides enough oven space to cook for two and has virtually eliminated the need for me to heat up the "big oven" in my kitchen. Using it with a cooking stone (the Bar Stone from Pampered Chef) creates the perfect combination for meats, bread, cookies etc. I like mine so much I bought one for my daughter & family.
