"Great Brats with this griller"
Great pan we use a lot, when we don't want to fire up the grill. Cleans easy, not a heavy thing like Le Creuset. We have a ceramic (glass?) surface so works on that with no problem.

"Absolutely the BEST grill pan on the market!"
My dinners have been saved with this pan. Just throw in a Rib Eye steak or two, a little salt and pepper, and WOW the best steaks I ever ate:) I'm sure it cooks other meats or chicken just as great. It's easy to clean, but do not put it in the dishwasher. It's the perfect grill pan. I can't recommend it high enough - and believe me I don't give to many 5 stars.

"wonderful"
this item is great. i'm grilling more now than ever. clean up is a breeze and meals are more healty.

"A fine example of a nonstick grill pan - but nonstick grill pans are a flawed concept. Also - it's not "clad"."
I'm a big fan of All-Clad and have a lot of All-Clad LTD and MasterChef pots and pans. I feel All-Clad has a great design methodology and makes great quality gear. Also, their non-stick coating is the best in the business. This grill pan, however, isn't actually clad - the secret of its low price. It's made from a single piece of anodized aluminum - like a Calphalon pan - as a brief examination of the edge reveals. The beefy handle is the most All-Clad thing about it. The nonstick coating isn't the usual All-Clad type either - although it certainly is top quality. As a grill pan, this one is very good - that's not the problem.

Grill pans make grill marks on your food - but are no substitute for actually grilling. There's no smoke flavor or high heat caramelization. The only thing the grill pan gives you is the sear marks. To that end, the nonstick surface fights you. Metal gives much better sear marks than nonstick coatings. In order to get a nonstick pan to give good sear you must really crank the heat up. This makes a lot of smoke - which make a good lid a necessity. Sadly, this pan doesn't include a lid. I found that the Calphalon 12" "Everyday" pan's lid is a perfect fit by coincidence - so I use it every time.

I have the luxury of a grill outside my kitchen door. I'm the kind of hardy soul who has no problem stepping out in the snow in shirtsleeves to flip the steaks. I find all grill pans to be a very poor substitute to actually grilling. Maybe if I lived in the city and couldn't grill as easily I'd be more enamored of this pan. As it is, I mainly use it under duress (such as during bad rain storms when I reluctantly must grill indoors).

"Unbelievable!"
Get this pan! I am so in love with it. Cooks GREAT, ridiculously easy clean up. Serioulsy, stop reading these reviews and buy this already.

What our customer's say!

"This is an awesome grill pan", I love this pan. I own a varied collection of all-clad, viking, and analon titanium cookware... and this is one of my favorite pans to use. I love using it for fish, chicken, a quick steak, or to put some grill marks on asparagus. It's very handy, heats evenly, and rocks my kitchen world... SS

"This is not a good grill pan", I feel that I am committing a mortal sin by saying that an All-Clad pan is not a good pan, but this one is not. Most people believe that All-Clad is exceptional cookware and I agree for the most part. This pan, however, is simply not a good or even average grill pan.

A grill pan is supposed to approximate the flavor and markings achieved by using a good charcoal/gas grill or an open flame of hardwood. The flavor is achieved by having sharp edged grill strips separated relatively deep valleys. Over a hot flame, the valleys allow the drippings to burn and emit smoke. This pan has very flat grill strips and extremely shallow valleys. The result is no smoke flavor and no grill marks.

The other failing of this pan is its light weight. The pan comes up to temperature quickly, but when you throw in two or three 1 & 1/2 pound ribeyes, it quickly cools off. This s a pure aluminum pan and as a result is light weight has little reserved heat when the steaks hit. The result is steaks that have been sautted rather than grilled. You do not have the deep, rich crust that you expect from a good steakhouse.

If you want to grill indoors - then get a heavy pan that can leave clear grill marks. Based on my experience, I can recommend Lodge or LeCruest.

"The Baby Bear of Grill Pans", Not too big, not too small, not too heavy, not too light, not too hot, not too cold ;-) It's just right! And that makes it really a joy to cook with! Love it!

"All Clad LTD nonstick grill pan", I have only used this pan once, but it did a good job on my burgers. One thing I noticed, was that it didn't have the LTD anywhere on the pan. Maybe thats normal...don't know. This pan is easy to clean, which means a lot to me. You won't be sorry,if you purchase this one.

"Greatly improved my cooking", I love this pan! Here in the Northeast, it's not much fun to grill outdoors in the winter, so I got this pan as a substitute. I've had grill pans in the past, but they heated unevenly and delicate foods like fish stuck to them.

If I'm not braising it or steaming it, I'm probably cooking it in this pan - shrimp, fresh fish, vegetables, burgers, steaks, chicken breasts - even satays and skewers. Because I can get the pan so hot, everthing cooks quickly but with beautiful color.

I wonder if I'll ever want to grill outside again?

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Best purchase I've made recently!", I love this pan. I bought it after reading all the reviews and it totally stands up to the raves that it gets on-line. I've literally used it almost every night since receiving it and haven't found anything negative to report. We can't have a bbq on our balcony (which my husband hates), but this pan has made him happy! I've cooked fish, lamb chops, Porterhouse steak, chicken and pollo asada on the pan and it came out great. The cleanup is a breeze, too. Get this pan and you'll love it!

"Great, in theory", I bought this for my wife. We have not used this yet, but she loves it. We got rid of our old electric grille and replaced it with this. There's a lot of room in this, I'd say you could grill 4-5 burgers at one time. Can't wait to use it. Nice alternative to grilling in the cold or rainy season.

"Great Pan!", We've used this pan at least twice a week since we purchased it. We've cooked chicken, fish, beef. Cleans up with paper towel. To get darker grill markings you might need to add weight to skillet.

"Superior Quality Pan", I love this grill pan. I purchased for under $50 so it was a very good bargain. I use this pan on a smooth top electric stove and it works perfectly. It heats and cooks evenly. Great grill marks on chicken and burgers. Careful when washing it because it does hold the heat for some time after you take it off the burner. I have found that taking a paper towel and wiping out the grease while it is still hot makes it easier to wash after it has cooled off. I have had this pan for about a year and use it 2 or 3 times a week. I agree with the reviewer who likes this pan better than the George Foreman grill. The quality of this pan is superb and an excellent value at this price. You will not be disappointed.

"A really good one", It cost more than I usually pay for a pan but the quality just jumps right out at you. It looks good, feels good. Solid, well made. And it fixes food great. The heat spreads out in the pan and there seems to be no hot and cold spots. Things cook evenly.
