"Wine Stoppers" Wine Stoppers really work, just listen to the popping sound when you open a bottle of wine that has been sealed with a Vacu Vin Wine Saver. "New design corks work with old design pump." When shopping for these replacement corks, I was trying to find a review to confirm that the new style corks work with the old style pump. I took the chance that they would, and happily found that the new design corks work with old design pump. "Works with the Vacu-Vin Pump" These are great! However you NEED the VacuVin PUMP to make them use. Don't try to use them without the pump as they will not stay in secure, and will not keep your wine fresh. You're better off using a piece of plastic over the bottle if then to just try ordering these corks without first having the pump. With the pump these work great and are necessary as extras. Just make sure you take them apart and wash them in hot soapy water before using. Also, both times I ordered these extras they came in a plastic zip lock bag with an amazon label. So I think Amazon must get a batch of them in and seperate them by hand. "Best Wine Saver Available" The Vacu Vin system is the best available. Pay attention the next time you're in a bar--they're using these, too! My husband doesn't like wine and these stoppers enable me to have a glass when I want it without feeling compelled to chug the entire bottle at once. :) "Great product" These are a little different than the first ones I bought, but work great. Use for wine and large bottles of Belgian bier.

What our customer's say! "Vacu Vin Wine Savers do Save the Wine", I've tried everything else. This is the only way to keep a bottle of wine from going bad. Unless the weather is extremely warm, it will last for several days after opening it. I love this product. "Wine keepers", This is an excellent product. Inexpensive but saves money. I am a one glass of wine per day person. Now I can enjoy the same taste as the day we open the bottle. Highly recommended. "Vac-U-Vin replacements-GREAT", Vac-UVin wine stoppers allow you to remove the air from opened wine bottles and preserve them longer. These hard to find replacements were better than the originals! "Excellent product", I have used these wine stoppers for about 3 months. The stoppers are used in conjunction with a pump that removes air from the wine bottle. My wine has stayed fresh for 3 weeks or more using these stoppers. Can't ask for anything more. "Not as pliable as others", Was trying to replace some bottle stoppers I've had, however, these were not quite as good a quality. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "vacuum wine stopper", Were have all your stoppers gone? Mine whent with my son. If you need this stopper you all ready know it's good. "Only one thing better, actually two...", These work great, as another reviewer has said, though - they don't make the wine last forever. You have to have properly set expectations and handle the open wine carefully, sealing it quickly. Also if you leave the wine out of the refrigerator, it will spoil, the simple act of opening it has set the clock in motion. You are merely trying to slow it down. Certain wines oxidize/spoil more rapidly (or at least develop that metallic nastiness of oxidized wines) than others. The only better 'systems' are: 1. Glass marbles. Whenever you take out some wine, leave the bottle open ONLY LONG ENOUGH to pour a glass, then top it off with clean glass marbles, right up to the top and recork it (using the vacuvin if you have it for double security) and refrigerate it. Clean marbles? First steal them from any handy 10 year old boy, then hide them in the silverware basket of the dishwasher and leave them there. Your marbles will be safe from the 10 year old, and clean when you need them. Voila! 2. Never open the wine. Not really an option ;-> Particularly with 10 year old kids around... Cheers! "It Really Works", Have used this effective and inexpensive product for years. Keeps the balance of a bottle of good, even older, red fresh for 1-2 days. White in the refrigerator a couple of days longer. Cork as soon as possible after the first day's pour. A simple economical alternative to a nitrogen/inert gas injector. "Vacu Vin Wine Saver Stoppers", These are wonderful to use. They make a huge difference in keeping wine fresh and sealed. |
