"Too Small" I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. She made pizzelles years ago and was initially thrilled. But when she saw the small size of the cookies, her disappointment was clear. We never even plugged it in. I don't disputed the performance other reviewers claimed. But, we got the Villaware pizzelle iron instead and found this traditional size better suited to both standard cookies as well as filled cookies, ice cream cups, etc. that my wife likes to make. It also cooks faster than the Chef's Choice literature claims. Before you buy, be sure you realize how small the cookies this iron makes are. They just aren't suitable for some traditional pizzelle uses "My first pizzelle maker and I love it!" While not really a big pizzelle fan like the rest of my family has been for years, I recently tasted some while visiting family back East. Upon my return home, I decided to see what electric pizzelle makers were available. The other purchaser's comments, 3" pizzelle size, three pizzelles at a time, batter overrun channel, and easy clean up really sold me on this maker and I haven't been disappointed. It's easy to use and clean up and the Chef's Choice 835 Pizzelle Pro makes delicious 3" pizzelles. Highly recommended! "Great Product" I love this machine! Makes great pizzelles, cleans easily. I love the smaller size pizzelles. I followed their suggestion and made cannolis out of them and my family raved about them. I now have my "signature dessert" to bring to get-togethers. My 12 year old daughter and I had such fun making the pizzelles. The recipe was so easy. They were so easy to make. It took a few tries to get just the right amount of batter but WOW!! This is a great pizzelle maker, the smaller size was just what I was looking for. I am able to make multiples at one time, that's great!! These make great ice cream sandwiches. They also make nice gifts by putting a stack in cellophane bags tied with a ribbon. VERY NICE...HIGHLY RECOMEND.

We made what seemed like a million little disks upon its arrival and enjoyed them for several days(the extras froze well). I like the small size of the pizzelles. The red light/green light makes it easy to cook the right amount of time. Make sure you use something to coat it the first time so it won't stick. Read this reviews before You buy... "Momma Antonetti", Wanted a pizzelle maker and difficult to find. TG for Amazon! Fast shipping; no fuss! Recipe excellent(I used the first listed with oil) and also used some cocoa for a batch. Quick heat; efficient; spoon helpful. Just fill the small center of the iron with batter and that is enough. I love this machine!! Happy Easter!! "Chef's Choice 835 Pizelle Pro Grill", This pizelle maker is quite easy to use. It regains heat quickly, so there is very little time needed between making each "batch" of cookies. This pizelle grill makes three pizelles at a time, which is a nice feature. The pizelles come off of the grill easily, which is a concern that I had when originally deciding which brand to purchase. The recipe to make the pizelles is also quite simple. I made the first pizelles with my Mom, who is in a wheelchair. The following week, she called me to tell me that she had made them herself. She was very happy about that! The appliance produces excellent pizzelles reliably, it's simple to operate, and it's easily cleaned. It stores vertically with its own cord storage well, taking up little storage space.
