"Great Grinder"
This is the third Braun Coffee grinder I've owned. One had to be replaced after 20 years of rough service and I have another for camp!

"I've owned the Braun KSM2 for 8 years now.... "
I requested a coffee grinder for my birthday in 2000 and received this model (which is listed 4 or 5 different times on Amazon).

The blades are sharp and have no problem grinding any quality bean. I've also used it to grind flax seeds beautifully, as well as almonds. My daughter dropped the clear plastic upper portion of the grinder in 2003 and a piece broke off, leaving a 'chip' in the plastic cup but we still continued to use it, just carefully pouring the coffee grounds out and avoiding that side.

The grounds, when ground fine (for espresso, etc.) do tend to congregate up around the tiny opening where the power button presses down to start the grind and if clogged, the button won't completely press down. However, in 8 years of owning this, I've only cleaned the tiny opening twice, which was as much work as using the tip of a knife to scribble back and forth and knock the grinds out. It took literally 2 seconds. And cleaning it twice in 8 years isn't bad.

The power cord wraps around the bottom which makes it look nicer on the counter. Overall a nice grinder.

We are looking for a new one now for two reasons; 1) it would be nice to have a grinder that doesn't have a broken cup (LOL) and 2. It's LOUD. About 6 years ago I regularly just learned to wrap a kitchen hand towel around it before pressing the button to muffle the sound and not wake the children in the early morning as I make coffee about an hour before they wake.

"excellent"
I am glad being amazon customer, service is fast, accurate, reliable and safe. Thank you amazon
Of course Braun product is OK.

" not bad"
it's a decent grinder, although noisy, but my gripe is the size of the container, particularly the bottom part. I have to fill the top cover with coffee beans, then flip the base upside down and fit it into the cover. After grinding I basically have to do the same thing, flip it, tap soundly on the countertop a few times, and then use the cup to fill the coffeemaker. I preferred the Regal I had prior, but it died of old age.

"Piece of Junk"
The switch broke on the first use. The cost of shipping to replace it would have been more than the unit.

What our customer's say!

"Great Buy ", My Son borrowered my coffee grinder and I needed to replace mine, so I order the same brand since it was a great product and a great buy

"Great grinder", I am not coffee pro, just someone who was looking to try something different. This coffee grinder works really well for me. I was using it 4 or 5 times a day, every time I wanted to make a cup of coffee. Then I got smart and I fill an old glass peanut butter jar that I keep in the fridge. That way I only grind once a week and the coffee still tastes way better than store bought.

"Exactly right", This coffee grinder does its job well. Reliable, attractive, easy to use, easily stored. A time-proven design.

"A great coffee grinder-I just bought another!", This is a great little grinder. I just purchased my second one for my boyfriends house, after having my current one for at least 10 years. It is simple to use, doesn't take up much space on the counter, and does a good job. I looked at others before buying the second one-they were more difficult to use, cost considerably more and were less space efficient.... so I went back to the old one and am glad I did.

"Great grinder for the price with a couple drawbacks.", This grinder is great for the price, which is very very low. I haven't had any problems with getting a fine enough grind for my coffeemaker (also a Braun) or fitting enough beans into the grinder to make a good cup of coffee. A couple tips:

The grinder seems to be tailored to Braun coffeemakers. If you have a coffeemaker with 6oz cups instead of 5 or one that does 12 cups instead of 10 max you could possibly have capacity issues.

The ground coffee seems to stick to the inside of the grinder body. I solved this by unplugging the entire unit, turning it upside down (with the lid on) and tapping it several times against my counter until all the grounds fell into the lid. I took the lid off then and poured that into the filter. It seems like a better method all around.

"Braun KSM2-WH Aromatic Coffee Grinder, White", The Braun Coffee Grinder that I had for more than 10 years suddenly stopped working. I called Braun and asked if they still made it. I searched the internet and ordered a new one. Same design, but a tad larger and the cord was shorter. Otherwise, I am very happy with the Braun Grinder. Braun products are usually very good.

"Braun KSM2-WH Aromatic Coffee Grinder", This is the same coffee grinder I used everyday for 12 years. I tried others but they did not last or perform like this simple Braun Coffee Grinder. So when my trusty friend finally went Kaput the choice was easy.
For the price this machine is a definate bargan.

"COFFEE GRINDER REVIEW", Works very well - but was a bit pricey. Last BRAUN grinder I owned lasted 4 to 5 years with daily use before the plastic housing fell apart.

"Perfect Grinder. Easy. Attractive. Simple to Use.", Lift cap. Pour in whole beans. Replace cap. Press button for five seconds -- longer if you want expresso. It makes perfect coffee grounds each and every time. This Brauns grinds a lot of beans at one time.

Depending on the oil content of the beans, some grinds (like flavored) might stick to the bottom of grinder. To loosen them, tap the Brauns gently against your palm.

To clean, unplug grinder. Wipe down grinding area with damp paper towel.

This grinder doesn't take up much counter space. It grinds the beans evenly. You control the machine and the type of grind you want. The longer you push the cap's button, the smaller the grounds will be.

I've had my Braun for eight years. I use it every day. It hasn't failed me yet. When and if it does, I'll buy another in the blink of an eye.

"Good long life", We received our Braun Coffee Grinder as a Christmas gift 16 years ago. It still works great, but has just started leaking coffee grinds out of the bottom everytime I grind coffee. I can't complain, it has lasted a long, long time! It has served it's purpose well.

It is easy to clean. I use a pastry brush to clean under the blade, and this works perfectly!

I'm going to upgrade to a Burr Grinder now, and keep my Braun grinder as a backup, as by reading reviews, Burr Grinders don't seem to last as long and might have problems develop.
