"Excellent Coffee Grinder"
This is actually Our second purchased coffee grinder I bought it as a gift for my parents and we bought our 1st one was like 13 years ago and it's has been excellent coffee grinder never give us a trouble.

"It does its job."
I have been using it for a few weeks now. So far so good. Highly recommended. It does its job making fresh coffee.

"Trust-worthy coffee grinder"
We had the same Braun coffee grinder for about 20 years (didn't use it as heavily in our younger days), but it held up well until the end of one blade finally broke off one day. We ordered this one, and were surprised to find how it has not changed in 20 years! Nevertheless, we hope that this one will be as durable as our previous trust-worthy Braun coffee grinder. So far, so good.

"Nice grinder"
This is the second Braun grinder of this model I've owned (same model different color). The first lasted for over 10 years! Even then it didn't stop working. The plastic screw nut that holds the blade on wore down to the point I was afraid the blade was going to come off.
Highly recomended.

"Excellent Coffee Grinder"
Braun KSM2-BLK Aromatic Coffee Grinder, Black. This grinder is fantastic. I had another one that lasted me years of everyday grinding and then broke one the blades on one side. Then I used it another 5 years with one blade. But, this new one is FAST and has more room to grind enough easily for a 12 cup pot!! I've use it to grind peppercorns and rock salt and rice for Horchata. Extremely versatile and easy to clean. I love it!!!

What our customer's say!

"12 yrs!!!", My Braun coffee grinder finally broke after 12 years of daily use. the tray that holds the beans finally came loose after years of me grinding then hitting the side of the grinder to get the coffee off the walls of the tray. i'm ordering another one. i've never had a kitchen appliance last 12 years.

"Braun Coffee Grinder", This coffee grinder leaked coffee down inside the motor rendering it useless within two weeks of receiving it.

"Lasts a LONG time!", I got one of these in 1992 and never bought pre-ground coffee again. It's lasted more than 15 years with no problems until the very end when the plastic casing at the top of the actual blade broke away. We have coffee daily so we got a lot of use out of this grinder. And because we had such a great experience with our first one, I'm definitely ordering another to replace it for the next 15 years!

"Braun Aromatic Coffee Grinder", This burr grinder is perfect for my needs. It grinds the beans to my choice
each time.

"We Need a Replacement and I Think I'm going to buy the SAME thing again!", We got this coffee grinder as a gift back in 2002 I believe. It was our first grinder so I had nothing to compare it to but I liked it.

The pluses would be fast grinding and evenly ground as long as you grind it long enough. My husband would only hold the button down for about 12 seconds and the coffee he made is/was always weak and had whole and partial beans left. When I taught him to hold it to the count of 15-20 his coffee suddenly got much, much better! *grin*

It's easy to use with only one push button so there is little to mess with, no electronics to go 'wrong' and works well. I've used it for coffee beans, almonds, flax and spices although it's primarily used for coffee.

The downsides; It's loud! We regularly grab a kitchen towel, set it on the counter, put the coffee grinder in the middle of it, wrap the towel around and then push the button. Even this way it still wakes one of our kids in the morning so if I remember, I grind the beans the night before and program the coffee pot.

Another downside; if the plastic opening where the button presses down is filled with coffee dust it plugs and it won't work until you systematically clean it all out.

We do find it gets grounds all over the counter, but after reading a hundred reviews of other coffee grinders this seems rather universal.

Coffee grounds do tend to get 'stuck' on the bottom and will need to be swept out with a brush or your finger. It's just second nature and habit to us to lift the whole grinder after it's finished, holding the top on while we turn it upside down and give it a couple good 'whacks' with the palm to empty all the grounds into the plastic cup before pouring it into the coffee maker. This gets out most of the grounds unless your beans are really oily.

My daughter knocked ours off the counter and the clear plastic cap smashed to the floor and big piece of it broke off the side. We can still use it but spill a lot of grounds if we are not really (really!) careful. For this reason I was looking to replace it as a new plastic cup would be almost as much as a new grinder. After reading a hundred reviews I'm really close to reordering this *same* grinder again.

I guess I like it even more than I knew! 6 years now and ours is still going strong....

"Great Product", This is a great coffee grinder. I had one once before, and when it wore out after about 10 years, we got a new model. It's durable and a real workhorse.

"Good value, but imperfect", I've been using it for fine drip, coarse press and extra-fine Aeropress, but it always leaves a combination of dust and extra-coarse granules regardless of how I shake it or how long I run it. After grinding and dumping there is residual buildup that needs to be scraped and brushed off to prevent staleness in the next cup. To prepare a bag of grounds for taking to work or camping requires grinding a few small batches.
Still, this is MUCH better than pre-ground coffee. I would prefer a no-brush grinder with consistent grounds size, but even the expensive conical burr grinders have issues!
For those of us that love good coffee, the loudness isn't as much of a concern weighed against the quality of brew, but there are those that might find that the grinder sound wakes them up.

"Braun coffee grinder", Terrific product and I received it 2 days after I ordered it! Extremely happy:)

"coffee grinder", excellent product, works very well. the power cord could be a little longer. good value for the price.

"5 short bursts", Great little grinder. Now I have gourmet coffee every day without the cost. I find it only takes 4 or 5 short bursts to grind enough beans for my 4-cup mug each morning. Actually, I grind and prepare my coffee each evening (now that I also have a programmable coffeemaker) to give myself a little luxury each morning.
