"Very much used!!!" I ordered this cuisinart coffeemaker thinking it would be as good as new. When I opened the all-white box, I found a coffeemaker that still had dirt on it. I had to clean the whole thing before I could use it. I think smokers must have owned it. I can smell it. I didn't get the brush or scoop, either. I am seriously debating on whether to retun the thing! "The price is right" After years of chasing electrically charged flying grounds from a traditional coffee grinder I decided to try the "all in one" grinder/brewer product from Cuisinart. Given the brand name and reviews from current owners of the reconditioned product I got what I expected - a fine pot of excellently brewed coffee without the coffee dust particles all over the counter. As the reviews warned, clean-up is a little involved, however any mess is confined to the sink and that is no big deal. The price for the reconditioned product is a big deal. "get coffee" we owned the same item bought new 5 years ag. the Coffee system was useed daily. After five years it died. we bought the reconditioned one from amazon and found it to be excellect. we could not tell the difference from a new one and it worked perfect. "happy replacement" this was a direct replacement of a well used coffee grinder/brewer. I am pleased with the factory refurbished model and loving the fact it cost less than a third of a new unit. Can't go wrong in my opinion. Purchase was delivered the same week of order as well. Warm fuzzy's... "Great coffeemaker" I've had this coffeemaker for about 2 years. I've probably used it 300 or so times, and it's still going strong. I'm not ridiculously lazy, so cleaning it never seems much of an issue to me. Takes about 1 minute to rinse and dry everything with a towel. The bottom line is that it makes great coffee. That's all that matters anyway, isn't it?

It works great and I couldn't find the white color anywhere but here. "All okay", Everything was as promised--I'm pleased. Except that this was a replacement for a previous purchase (from Linens & Things)--which broke within the year! "Excellent product !!!!", Love this coffee maker...makes a great cup of coffee ! "Great coffeemaker", This is a great coffeemaker. It grinds the beans and makes the coffee at the same time so you always have fresh tasting coffee. If I had to grind the beans ahead of time I would just use preground coffee which does not have the same taste and is too time consuming. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "A great machine for the price", As stated in other reviews, the hardware looks flimsy and might break if forced. However, I've been using the unit for over a month and it has held up well. The coffee is excellent and always tastes fresh and not burnt. Several features allow you to fine tune the brew strength, another lets you adjust the warmer temperature setting, and another allows you to specify the automatic off timer. All in all, a great deal for the (refurbished) price. I expect to get as much life out of this unit as any other in the sub-$30 range and the features are exceptional for this price range. "Great deal!", I had this exact coffee maker for the past five years and it just went out a few weeks ago. I looked all over in stores and was never able to find a white one in this style. When I found this one I was a little leary with the price, but thought I would take a chance. It is wonderful!! It is brand new and works great! What a deal! I have used this coffee pot for over 10 years and now Cuisinart doesn't make it anymore.....so the reconditioned is the only way to go! You would never know it was reconditioned....it is just like new!! I actually have 2 of these in a closet in case the one I am using dies!! "Excellent coffee without a separate grinder", Through a fortutious combination of coupon codes and sales, I was able to get this coffeemaker for $15 with free shipping. Now that I've used it for about a month now, I'd gladly pay full price. (I did get the black one, however). If it breaks or has a problem, I will update this review. If you want the best-tasting coffee, there's no contest between pre-ground and freshly ground beans. The grinder on this machine works excellently- it is a little loud, but nothing that would wake the dead. After reading the manual, setting the AUTO function is not hard at all, and adjusting the heat of the carafe is a breeze. The machine has given me no trouble yet, and has produced the best-tasting coffee. I use a percolator at one job, a drip at another and have used countless other machines- by far, I prefer the coffee from this one. To those who complain about cleaning- I timed it. It takes about one minute to take off the three separate parts on the top (grinder cap, steam cover for filter basket, and filter basket/grinder) and rinse them. I use just water and my hands one day, and soap and a sponge the next. I've had no problems with leaks, clogs, or anything else so far. If you prefer to grind fresh beans, or just like to be able to tweak your cup to perfection, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
