"Rowenta DA-75 Travel iron/steamer"
We took it to Italy. the dual voltage feature made operation a breeze. Wrinkles came out of clothing in no time. Excellent product

"Where's the steam?"
An unfortunate purchase. I have had much the same experience that many other reviewers have had with this steam iron. I wanted it for steaming clothing which cannot be easily ironed. I was thrilled to find a reputable brand at a reasonable price. I was disappointed from the start. The first one I brought home, didn't work; no heat, no steam, nothing at all. I re-read all the instructions and tried again. Nothing doing. I returned it for a replacement; same results. Don't bother buying one.

"Works great but it's big"
The steamer/iron works great but it takes some serious space in your luggage.

"Problems with suppliers"
As I have a problem with a broken part, ROWENTA NEVER; NEVER answerd my requestn and then, I bougth a new one to replace the broken one.

So the problem is not the DA-75 Steam, but ROWENTA has not post customer service.

"Love it"
I'm a quilter and have this little iron, DA-75, plugged in right next to my sewing machine. I guess I'm in the minority but I really like the iron. It's compact, has a good burst of steam, gets good and hot for my thicker fabrics.

I have no complaints about it at all. I've had it about 6 months and haven't had any problems with it.

Great for quilters.

What our customer's say!

"VERY poor quality", Boy do I wish I'd read the reviews here before we purchased our Rowenta steam iron! Like many others, ours never worked properly: 1. The brush attachment broke right away (should have returned it then, but we just accepted it and continued to use it), 2. It constantly leaked water over our clothes, floor, selves when in use, 3. It was always REALLY DIFFICULT to get it to steam, requiring repeated, fast presses of the button until our thumbs were sore, 4. It finally just died today--stopped working for no reason. For such a simple product as an iron to break after just a short time, you know the quality is POOR. BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT and, by association, THIS BRAND. We will certainly never buy a Rowenta again!

"Not as good as the DA-55", I bought this as a replacement for my DA-55, which I wore out after about 7 years of daily use. First off, the water capacity is very small. You have to refill after every 1-2 garments. Secondly, the quality is poor compared to the DA-55. The heating element burned out after about 1 year. I would not recommend buying this model

"Excellent product", I've had a DA-75 travel iron for years. I have used it many times on trips to steam out wrinkles from suits, slacks, and shirts while on the hanger. I've also used it many times at home when I was in a rush.

It is well-constructed, comes with a brush that is great for removing lint, and has a convenient travel bag.

It heats quickly and produces adequate steam. As another reviewer stated, the reservoir is small because it is a *travel* iron. The reservior is easy to refill.

As a rebuttal to another reviewer, I find it amusing that anyone could write a bad review of this product. It has given me excellent service and has saved me from having to use questionable hotel irons.

"Great Travel Steamer", I am not sure what is up with all the negative comments about this steamer. This is my 2nd one since I left one behind in a hotel. It is great and works wondeful. Yes its does not hold a lot of water as another review states and you may have to refill to complete the job but it is a TRAVEL steamer (we want it to be small to TRAVEL). Yes you have to press the button over and over to get steam as another review writes but its not a big deal and the reason it has that feature is because you can also use it as a iron. I do a large amount of buiness traveling and if you need your suits and clothes to look nice this is a must have. If you are tired of all those hotel irons that leave marks on your cloths or dribbles water all over your clothes this items will save you all those awful problems. A+ ITEM!!

"Rowenta Steamer", I am so glad that I reviewed your customer comments. I purchased the Rowenta Steamer for my sister a litle over a year ago at a fabric store.
The steamer never worked properly, (could not get steam to come out of appliance ) and we thought it was just a "lemon"
She contacted customer service at Rowenta and they wee not only
not helpful but rude. They would not replace the steamer since she didnlt have the sales slip; although they had a record of a her phone call right after it was purchased.
Rowenta is certainly not customer or service oriented.
After eading reviews; I will purchase another brand for her.
Thank YOu

Read this reviews before You buy...

"No steam has me "steamed"", I received this as a Christmas gift last year and have hardly used it because it never worked right. I broke it out this morning to try once again to steam a shirt. I waited and waited for the steam, which never came out despite following all the directions. I also recall that when I was able to get some steam from it previously the water leaked out and burned me. I was able to use the iron function, but this is not really what I needed it for. I would take it back, but now it is too late :((

Don't buy this item if you want a steamer!

"Will BURN you when using VERTICAL Steam", when using vertical steam against hanging clothing, the steam will push out underneath and blow towards your hand underneath the handle. Its HOT!

You also have to press the button every time you want steam. It takes for ever to steam a regular hanging cotton dress shirt.

water reservoir is very small, only the size of handle.

would not recommend. I need a iron that will steam continuously an hanging article, without a board. gluck

"Not what I expected", Working in a full-price retail store, I use a Jiffy Steamer on a weekly basis. So when I discovered they sold a cheaper version I got one. Well boy was I disppointed! The "puffs" of steam stopped long before my garment was decent. After a while, it just stopped working altogether. Now the plate is filthy (from who knows what) and the thing is practically useless! Save your money and listen to these people's reviews.

"Don't bother with this one", I have to echo some of the other customers' negative sentiments below - this thing never really worked well. Recently I noticed it had completely died; I think I used it all of 6 times. There have to be better models out there - I wouldn't recommend this one.

"Great for travel and light steaming", I have owned this iron for about three years now and I use it every week still. It is great for quick steaming of sweaters and quick ironing in the morning. Not great for stubborn wrinkles or delicate fabrics but that is not what its true purpose is. It is wonderful to throw in your suitcase for traveling. Just remember to keep cleaner on hand and clean it regularly.I recommend this iron for any business traveler!
