"product ok" After, what I thought, was a lot of research I decided on the cuisinart two go coffeemaker. It does what it says it does with the exception of the mugs. When the coffee first drips into the mugs they are almost to hot to handle and they are the only mugs that fit under the spouts. I was very disappointed to find this out. But I suppose what do you want for so little money. Just make sure that you don't break them or lose them. "mugs are terrible" The mugs are unpleasant to drink out of (there is a ridge in the lip), and more importantly, the plastic inner lining produces a bad taste. I am not some gourmet coffee snob, but the taste is pretty dramatically bad, and does not go away after > 10 dishwashings. "Makes a very good cup (or two) of coffee" This makes a very good cup (or two) of coffee. It's small, compact, and attractive. I think the brewing time is pretty quick - maybe 10 or 15 minutes at the most. Interestingly, it fills the cups slightly unevenly, so the one on the right fills a little more, but that works out if one person likes milk and the other takes it black. The only drawback, I can find, is that there is no fill window, so you have to peer inside, but the numbers inside are white and highly visible and, even if they fade, there is a shelf inside which indicates the fill line for just one cup. I'm very pleased with this coffee maker. "coffeemaker" An officemate and I purchased this coffeemaker to try instead of spending money at the coffee cart everyday, which can add up. It works very well for us and we like the fact that it uses regular ground coffee rather than the "pods". We get much more variety this way. "So glad I found it!" This coffeemaker is ideal for me being the only coffee drinker in our house. I like the convenience of only making 1 or 2 cups at a time. One review I read said it leaked if you didn't get the cup in correctly. That should not be a problem at all. There are indented places to easily slide the cup in for 1 or 2 cups. It is easy to clean and I love the convenience of it turning off automatically after the brewing is complete. I don't have to worry about leaving the house and not unplugging it. I highly recommend this product.

What our customer's say! "JUNK", We never had good luck with Cuisinart coffee makers. We have had both this type as well as the standard 10-cup coffee maker from Cuisinart, and I can honestly say they should stay away from producing coffee makers. Their other kitchen appliances seem to work well just not their coffee makers! This particular one is a complete piece of junk. The filter is a pain to put in. The coffee either comes out hot (when it works!) or messy (when it bombs!). Does not distribute well between two cups. Everything on it feels so flimsy and cheap. "review", I really like this product. My husband doesn't drink coffee and I do. I love a cup each morning if not two. This allows me to take it with me if we go somewhere or to work. It fits in my car cup holders. It also allows me to make the coffee to my liking. It is very easy to clean and prepare. I find you can use other cups, they just have to be the correct size. "Believe the bad reviews!", I read many of the reviews and decided to give this coffeemaker a try, especially since it was such a great price. I should have listened to the bad reviews. The coffeemaker does put different amounts in each cup and it brews so slow I could not believe it. It took longer to brew one cup of coffee with this machine than it took my other coffee machine to brew 12 cups. And I did not think the coffee tasted all that great either. Even at a great price this coffee maker is terrible! "Buyer Beware", I really wish I could give this product no stars. I'm not really the person to freak over just little defect of a product. But this didn't even work! I bought one and brought it home and the on switch didn't work. Tried about 20 different plugs in my house and one of my surge protectors still didn't work. Took it back to the store and bought another one and that one didn't work either, I just went ahead and bought one for a higher price. The on switch is defective and it really is the luck of the draw if it works or not. "fine for one cup but two is a problem", This coffee maker works fine when making only one cup, but when you try to make two at once the coffee grounds overflow into the coffee cups. The basket housing for the grounds is not large enough to hold the recommended amount of coffee for two cups. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Very good coffee maker. Some thoughts.", I have been using the coffee maker for many weeks and have a few thoughts that I would like to share. First of all, since there is no warming plate, and there can't be, it is crucial to take the coffee mug out when the coffee finishes going through the filter. The mug is open with no top and cools quickly. Secondly, I decided to get a unit like this when the water drought and shortage in the SouthEast (NC) became severe. Previously, I had been using a 4 cup drip coffee maker. I realized that cleaning the pot every morning took water that could be used elsewhere or for the environment. With this coffee maker, I am saving water. Maybe not more than three quarters of a gallon a day, but every bit helps. Third, using a regular filter means that I am not stuck with using pods or making my own or having to clean a filter kit. Yes, paper filters take landfill space, but they degrade nicely and the water situation is more critical (for the moment!). Fourth, This coffee maker does seem to force me into a specific mug, or at least with the same size, with and bottom diameter. With this coffee maker, the bottom and top diameters are critical, unless one uses a very wide mouthed mug and can get it to fit underneath. Lastly, and I did save this for last. I don't think that the coffee tastes that good. Maybe its because the mug size is 14.5 oz and I don't have the measurements down yet. I'll have to experiment and see if I can do better. It does brew properly, but there are no additional side holes - there can't be - that I have seen in other upper end coffee makers. "Not So Great", I've had this product for a few months. I's OK, but I would not buy it again. It's awkward filling the water resevoir. The handle used to help remove the coffee cone broke after a few weeks. All in all it is a disappointment. I'd look elsewhere.... "Excellent Product", This product is GREAT! It fits perfect on my desk at work and makes a great cup of joe. "makes the right amount", We have only used this for a few weeks, but we like it. It makes the right amount of coffee, rather than wasting a whole pot for just a few cups. Also it brews quickly so even though it doesn't have a timer, we set it up at night and just push the button in the morning. By the time you collect your things, the coffee is ready. The to-go cups are convenient and easy to clean. We would reccomend it for people who take thier coffe to-go in the morning. "compact and to-go", like the coffeemaker for its compact shelf space and the fact it already is in a container to dash from home to car. Does not keep it warm for "hours after" tho. Also have to use more coffee than my presspot. All in all a good buy for the money. |
