"Just as expected, but no lid included" Used to replace carafe on an Krups 871 espresso maker, fits and works fine, only annoying detail is that it doesn't come with the lid, which I had to order separately (ended up getting from the Gourmet Depot online) "Perfect replacement for the one I broke!" "It is what they say, a replacement", Not much to say about it, other than that it is an identical replacement for the original carafe I managed to shatter into a million little pieces. One caveat however, it does not come with a top, so make sure you keep yours. "It does the job!", I bought this after clumsily breaking my original pot for my Krups Espresso maker; it's not the exact size, shape as the original but it comes close and works just as well. Glad to have it and in fact I've bought another for back up in case of future blonde moments. "Exact replacement of the original", The product described is an exact replacement of the original. Be advised that it does not include the top. "Very pleased", Exact replacement, happy with price and get a extra with a promotion of free shipping, recommend to others, good buy "Never buy just one.", These things are great, but just a little tap while cleaning will cause them to break. I must be clumsy. I always keep one extra in the cupboard. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Krups 4 cup carafe minus lid", apparently, the world no longer values the need to acquire the replacement lid for said carafe... "Krups Rplacement Espresso Carafe", Product was good. Shipping was safe and fast. I was glad to be able to find a replacement carafe for my particular model of espresso maker. The one problem I have is that the lid I had from the orginal espresso carafe is not a good fit with the replacement carafe. I have to remove the lid to poor the espresso out of the carafe. I would have ordered the lid also if I had known the original lid would not fit. "Love My Krups!", We love the Krups machine becuase it makes both types of coffee. It's extremely easy to use, I've had no issues with it. Only real complaint is the cost to replace the espresso carafe. I also wish the coffee door where the coffee filter goes was removable for easy cleaning. Other than that we love ours! Buying one for my daughter. "Replacement carafe", I purchased this carafe to replace one for the Krups 1500 coffee/espresso machine which I received for Christmas. I believe it will work, but the handle is attached with a screw which looks like it requires a star shaped screwdriver. I cannot find a screwdriver with a long enough shaft to fit in the handle and undo the band to replace it with the handle and lid which was on the original carafe. Will have to cut off the handle, I believe. "Why I'm buying another espresson carafe", I just bought the Krups espresso machine at costco yesterday and the carafe breaks on me. Its super fragile but i don't have a choice but to replace it. The machine sucks and its kind of dangerous. If i could return this machine and blow 600 dollars on a seaco automatic espresso machine...i would. |
