"Great Currency Converter in Use"
I recently purchased the Zelco X-Changer Currency Exchanger for an upcoming trip to Latin America. I was visiting four countries with four different currencies to deal with.

I found this product exceedingly easy to program, a breeze to use, and it's small size made it ideal to fit in my travel wallet to have available when I needed it.

I can highly recommend this, and was so glad I bought it!

"Great Product"
Compact and extremely easy to use for those of us who are not math genius's. Also love the fact that it's on a neck thong for quick reference, eliminating the need for digging in the purse or backpack - but yet it can be tucked out of the way.

"Pricey but useful $16.99"
I tend to round off in my head but it is much better to have the exact number to figure out if something is worth buying. I was happy to find a black one in the box. I think the half ring where the keyring attaches would get broken easily so this may not last more than one trip. Although cell phones have calculators, it is much handier to have this one task tool at the ready. This is tiny. I think it is too expensive at $16.99.

"Change! Nothing stays the same...X-Changed!"
So, there I was--my first trip to Amsterdam, and I'd forgotten to properly estimate just how much cash to bring. Being the stereotypical "ugly American," I was unsure of the going exchange rate for certain services I wished to pay for, and certain items I wished to buy.

You can't exactly blame me; I doubt YOU know how many Dutch Guilders or Euros are the equivalent of a wad of folded-over American singles.

Mmm. That makes me think of Kraft cheese slices. Man, those things are GOOD.

Anyway, I wouldn't want to hand a stack of foreign currency to a Dutch girl (or a Russian one, for that matter), only to realize later that I'd mistakenly given her a thousand bucks U.S.! Or, just imagine accidentally paying double for a tab!

That's where this little beauty comes in. I learned my lesson and picked up the Zelco X-Changer. Once you've programmed the exhange rate, simply plug in the U.S. dollar amount, and the X-Changer quickly computes the sum for any transaction you can imagine.

I'm not wild about the conspicuous light blue color, since I make some purchases out on the street, but the small size allows me to take the Zelco X-Changer into any establishment I choose. And the handy neck-lanyard allows me to keep it close, even when my hands are otherwise occupied!

Wham Bam! Oh, Amsterdam! Yeah, yeah, yeah...

What our customer's say!

"Currency Converter Review", For anyone who travels abroad, this currency converter is a necessity. It's ease of use and layout make it ideal for quickly calculating how much things cost in dollars. I've already worn out one.

"Well Worth 1,068.40 Algeria Dinars", Small, handy, easy to use. Wish I had bought this thing sooner.... Of course, the taxi driver in Tahiti to whom I gave a $50 tip instead of a $5 tip would disagree. I plan to buy these for all my traveling friends.

"great gadget", Great little gadget very simple to use and fits right into your pocket/purse without taking up any room.

"Waste of money", I recently purchased two of these as stocking stuffers for my Mom and Sister since we are going to Italy in March. When I received them in the mail, I opened them up to make sure they worked, and they indeed did not work. I looked at the manual, and the particular ones that were sent to me were manufactured in 1989!! I would definately not reccomend this item. Go to a store and test these out before you purchase.

"Excellent Product", I am an American living and working abroad. I travel a great deal from country to country and would not leave home without my Money X-Changer. I know exactly what I am paying in different currencies within seconds, so don't get overcharged. It is a must for travelers!!
