"Light weight and Easy handling" I like these cannisters because of its light weight and Nice molded grip. The lids are really easy to open and close. These cannisters keeps the food fresh. It keep cabinets organized and the containers look good too. Got these at a Target store nearby, rather than online for $20. I'm quite pleased with my purchase. "Great storage" I was able to use these to get the 'snack' cabinet partially organized - I need to order another set. The containers performed as many described. Lids fit a little funny, but are keeping everything as fresh as when I put the item in. My 4-year-old loves the smaller containers - they travel very well! Unfortunately, she leaned on one and cracked part of the lid hinge. It still closes and seems to be making a seal - goldfish crackers are still fresh inside. "Love these! " They are great for organizing and keeping food fresh. Just remind family members not to put them in the dishwasher. My DH did and it wasn't pretty! "Lightweight and easy to pick up" I like these cannisters much better than the heavy ceramic ones I used previously. Nice grips built in, good when my arthritis is acting up and I find it hard to pick up stuff. Lightweight, a big improvement over glass or ceramic containers. I don't have to worry that it will shatter when it drops. The lids are really handy, easy to open and close. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I bought two identical sets of these cannisters, and one of the smaller ones had the lid put on crooked. I haven't managed to get it all the way off or all the way on, and it was too much hassle to mail the whole set back for one tiny cannister. Maybe one day I can find someone stronger to fix it for me, until then it's not usable. Otherwise, I'm quite pleased with my purchase. "Snapware container set" It's a nice set. However, nowhere in the description did it say whether they were plastic or glass. I was looking for glas containers. But, the containers are every nice!

What our customer's say! "snapware canisters", Have had these canisters for 8 years and love them. Just bought them for my sister who just got married. No complaints about them. Work great for sugar, flour, cornmeal, pancake mix, etc. "a back ordered product", has been on back order for over a year...i believe i am off the list as it was taking way to long for this mdse "LOVE THEM! They're quick and easy to open and close, easy to fill, and they definitely seem to keep the critters out! We like the square shape so that we can fit a bunch of them into one cabinet. Good stuff! Read this reviews before You buy... "Works like a champ!", When you live in Hawaii, things can get staled very quickly. If you leave bread or chips out for a couple of hours, you may as well throw it away. Since we moved here, we found ourselves throwing away a lot of food (and money). As a result, I have been searching for a long time for a solution to keep cereal, chips, etc. fresh. We tried those big clips but they didn't do the trick. We tried other storage containers, no luck. Zip-lock bags were OK, but it was a hassle buying them, the cabinets looked messy...well you get the point. Snapware was the answer to our problems. It is just fantastic. It keeps the food fresh. I have had snapware for a few months and nothing has gone staled. It is easy to use. The handles are nice (my kids can hold the containers), the lids are easy to snap open & close and cleaning is simple. Lastly they keep your cabinets organized and the containers look good too. I highly recommend this product. "Love them. Work great. Hand wash only.", Love them. They have an excellent airtight seal. You can't unscrew the lid without opening it (a good thing). The larger containers are great for cereal and pasta. The smaller ones are great for keeping raisins and cookies fresh. We put a piece of tape on top and write the date we filled it. They are durable, mine are several years old and are still like new. They do not hold up to repeated use by a toddler. She has her own with snacks on a low shelf, and has cracked the hinges. The big drawback is that they will melt in the dishwasher. They were ok for a few cycles on low heat, but one just melted enough that the lid won't go on. Handwash only. The price is good, about a 20 -25% savings, plus, it shows up at my door. I'm ordering some today. "Great value!", Got these at a Target store nearby, rather than online. This is a really good value, as the same products (not even including the scoops) would cost over $28 if purchased separately. The large 120 oz holds a 5 lb bag of flour, and I've been looking for a while for a convenient, attractive container for that. I will be stocking up on these to do my whole pantry. The one-handed, one-motion snap lid is a life-saver, especially if you have kids in the house. If it's not quick and simple, it just doesn't get closed up at my house. With these containers, it only takes a quick smack and it's closed up tight. So convenient, even the 15 year old will do it (I can't tell you how many stale "reclosable bags" of stuff I've thrown away). For me, these are awesome. I would highly recommend them. "Bought one set, and just ordered two more sets...", I'm sold! I bought one set to organize my pantry full of many kinds of baking goods, (i.e. wheat, rye, all-purpose, bread flour, and brown, raw, and date sugars), all of which I needed clear, see-through cannisters for this purpose. The lids closed firmly and I could easily access the contents with a 1/2 C scoop (included in the set). I put flours, sugars, raisins, nuts, rices, wheat germ and various cereals in these containers. "Great product", Nice looks. But I dont see the a great value in the snap open lids. At times I think it does not seal the contents very tightly. But I am using these containers to store dry food items in the pantry. Works well! |
