"Great design, beautifully uniform scoops", After too many bent spoons to count, we broke down and bought this scoop. Its engineering has exceeded my expectations on a couple of fronts:

First, the scoop itself has very thin (but strong) edges that slice easily into even hard ice creams with less effort than other scoops I've tried.

Second, the shape of the scoop does indeed produce beautifully round spheres of your favorite frozen dessert...ideal for anyone who values presentation and function.

"Annoying inconsistency", Th product features and editorial review spell Germany as the origin of manufacture. But the one I got was made in China.
