"Does what I need it to" Picked this up at Costco for a price that couldn't be beat. I needed a small food processor that wouldn't take up a lot of space, and this one fit the bill. I bought it mainly to chop small batches of veggies, grind spices, and make dip, a task which it accomplishes very well. It is a bit on the loud side, but since I use it mainly on pulse, the noise doesn't bother me. The blade is very sharp and makes short work of the veggies. I rarely have to use it for longer than 10 seconds. I find it easiest to hold the top of the machine with one hand and press the buttons with the other. You can head off the issue with unprocessed chunks by alternating between chop and grind. Chop for a few seconds until it starts to separate, then hit grind for a second to reverse the blade and suck the unprocessed parts back down, then back to chop again. "Awesome Product" I LOVE this mini food processor! I bought it to make my own baby food, and it works great. It is much better at making purees than a regular blender - I could never get all the lumps out. This food processor is also great for chopping onions, bell peppers, etc and saves lots of time on chopping when cooking meals. And it's not as loud as a blender or large food processor, so my baby doesn't get upset when I use it. "Food processor" I love this processor. It's fairly small but easy to store, use and clean. It serves my purpose nicely. "CUISINART MINI PROCESSOR" I HAD BROKEN MY LOWER DENTURE. YE GADS! HOW CAN I CONTINUE TO EAT. MY GUARDIAN ANGEL OR MY WIFE, SUGGESTED I PURCHASE A MINI FOOD PROCESSOR. WOW! I'M EATING BETTER THAN I DID WITH MY DENTURES. IT WILL DO PORK CHOPS, ROAST BEEF AND STEAKS TO A PALATABLE AND TASTY FINE MORSEL. I'M DOING FRUITS, VEGETABLES, SALADS, ETC. EATING WITH A SPOON SUITS ME JUST FINE. OH! AND I SAVED $20 TOO! SINCERELY, .........RAY DUNN "Chopping away" This processor has met every criteria I had. Easy to use, easy to clean, and small enough to handle easily. I plan to buy them for my 2 dau-in-laws for Christmas.

What our customer's say! " BEST MINI-FOOD PROCESSOR EVER", I PURCHASED THIS ITEM AFTER READING A RECOMMENDATION IN THE NEWSPAPER MAGAZINE SECTION. IT IS THE PERFECT SIZE AND WORKS GREAT. I LOVE IT.I HAVE USED A SMALLER ONE FOR A LONG TIME AND SORRY THIS WASN'T AVAILABLE BACK THEN. IT WAS A LITTLE PRICEY BUT NOT THAT BAD. GREAT ITEM. I FULLY RECOMMEND IT. I have used it to make butternut squash soup, grate cheese for various dishes, chop up garlic, make cheese cake and pretty much everything/ anything I can possibly think of. I use it very rarely to make salsa and guacamole because I prefer to have those two dishes on the chunky side. I find the mini prep is too powerful for those dishes. I highly recommend this product! I would be lost without it! "Great for small jobs and easy to clean", After reading the numerous glowing reviews a couple of months ago, I bought this mini-processor. It's great for small jobs, such as making salad dressings, chopping small amounts of herbs and/or onions, grinding flax seeds, pureeing a few vegetables, and making smoothies. The noise and vibration of the processor when grinding frozen fruits gives me the impression that the motor is not powerful enough to handle hard objects and/or will break if used for more than a few seconds at a time. However, up to now the mini-processor has been working just fine. It's easy to clean and store. It cannot replace my trust-worthy 1981 large Cuisinart, but I'm glad I have, and definitely recommend, this Mini Prep Plus food processor. "Useful Kitchen Item", I have little use for a large food processor. I use this little chop/grind item all the time in cooking. This one was a gift to someone who has a red kitchen. I was delighted to find it in red on Amazon. "Great good processor!", This food processor works great. It makes pesto better than any food process or I've used before. It is a great size if you're making food for a couple of people, but a bit small if you're cooking for more. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Good, practical addition to my kitchen", This is a very handy addition is you're doing a good amount of chopping. Just toss in your rough-chopped ingredients all together and give it a whir. Best of all, it's only three pieces and cleans up nicely in the dishwasher - - though most of the time it just takes a quick rinse and it's ready for action. But for big jobs, it is easier to just separate the job into a few small batches and use the Mini Prep Plus a few times over than to lug out the bigger processors to use just once. The Mini Prep Plus is so easy to clean, as well. I love my Mini Prep Plus! I use it more than any of our other processors. I highly recommend it! "Waste of money", I bought this machine in order to make my baby's food and it worked fine for that task. But when I started chopping nuts and hard cheeses, it just couldn't do it. The blade broke and I just realized that it costs about $20 -s+h included- to replace it. It's just not worth it. |
