"Great product!", I have really enjoyed my yogurt strainer. It works best with Kroger's store brand of nonfat plain yogurt made with pectin. Wal-Mart's store brand made with gelatin didn't work as well.

"Addicted to yogurt cheese", Spread it on toast with jam. use it on fruit as a topping. Mix with olives and capers. This is so easy and cleans fairly well. I have used both homemade and store bought yogurt to make cheese. You won't go back.

"very nice product", not much to say about this except that it makes making yogurt cheese a snap. It is sized to hold the contents of one of those bigger containers of yogurt.

Place the screened portion in the container, pour the yogurt in, close the container, put it in your refrigerator overnight.. and you have yogurt cheese the next morning. The longer you strain it, the more firm the yogurt cheese.

mix cocoa and a little vanilla with this yogurt cheese, add sweetener of your choice (I use stevia), and you have a delicious chocolate mousse! :)

about the only thing I will say is that you have to be careful cleaning the screen, not to poke any holes in it.

I have not tried the funnel makers (tried the cheesecloth method once, and it was a bit of a pain in the patoot), so I cannot compare this method to the funnel method.

if you don't know what yogurt cheese is, and just want to try some to see if you like it before purchasing something like this, then try some greek yogurt. Fage is a good brand.

"Excellent product", I love Greek-style yogurt and have been paying a premium price for it at the grocery store. However, since I bought this yogurt maker, I've been able to make my own for much less than what I was paying. The yogurt tastes wonderful and it's quick and easy. Depending on how thick you want it, you usually have to empty out the whey once due to the shallowness of the bottom, but it's a quick 5-second job. I would highly recommend this product if you like the thick, custardy type of yogurt.

"Easy and No Mess", Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker
What a great gadget, there is no mess and so esay to use. Can't beat it. I love how the strainer just lifts out, using a coffee filter was always so messy for me.

"Simple. Perfect.", Yogurt goes in, whey filters out, creamy yogurt cheese results. There isn't much to it. It just works well; no more messy bundles of cheesecloth suspended in my refrigerator.

The only trick I found to it is that if you yogurt is too thin, some of it will seep through the mesh at first. I use store bought yogurt and scoop some thick unstirred spoonfuls out to line the bottom before stirring some salt into the rest and pouring it on top.

"Works Great!!", I purchased the yogurt cheese maker because I found trying to use coffee filters too messy. This products works great and is really easy to clean. Just dump the yogurt into the container and set in the fridge.

"yo-cheese that fits on the fridge shelf", I've been making Yogurt Cheese with my chinois and whatever pot or bowl was at hand for years (thanks to Graham Kerr). This is like joining the 21st century...no more clearing out huge real estate in the refrigerator. This small unit fits neatly in amongst all the jellies and mustards. Good idea. I think I invented this myself years ago, but someone else finally manufactured it. Good job.

"Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker", I had fun making cheese from yogurt with this set. It really does work, a little bit pricey tho', but it is sturdy set. The plastic is thick and weighty, not flimsy at all.
