"It's a good replacment filter for an ok system"
It's the replacement filter I needed for my Bionaire filtration system. The filters work well. It's the Bionaire system that may or may not be the best room air filter b/c you have to buy replacment cartridges pretty often. So, in the end, I would've spent more on a filterless system b/c the filter price & machine price are the same when you consider how many filters you end up buying during the life of the machine.

"holmes replament filter"
This filter is for a small air purifier. I bought the air purifier for my son in college. While it is conviniently small, it does not do the job of a big air purifier. It works well in small rooms, but the filter needs to be change very often.

"Best deal I've found"
These filters fit the Holmes mini-tower and actually look different from the product photo. I wasn't sure when I ordered them that they would fit, as not all the models were listed. I was quite pleased to find it available directly from Amazon, as the two-pack (along with the free shipping) make it a more affordable option as the filters are small.

"Too expensive!"
We use the Holmes aircleaner to minimize allergens and to clean the air when my husband lights up a cigar. These filters work well, but they are very expensive and generally last less than 2 months. If I could do it again, I'd buy one of those air cleaners that don't need separate filters -- just a rinse. After all, I'm already paying for the water.

"Works well, but at a cost!"
I use these filters with my HAP242 air purifier. These filters do work as you can see them turning gray and collecting dust as the weeks go by. The only drawback is that these filters are pricey compared to other filters with other brands. Other than that, these filters do work well.

I would recommend ditching these filters and going for a more cost effective air purifier that uses more affordable filters, such as the Hamilton Beach brands. The filters I order for my Hamilton Beach purifier is under $15 and work just as well as these.
