"A great design for a hot pot", This is a major improvement over the little pot for boiling water I used to use in the dorm... It has a concealed unit and a brushed stainless steel surface. It also has a wide mouth which means that it could also be used to warm a baby bottle or bottle of ice cream topping. The wide mouth and seamless stainless steel surface means that you can _easily_ clean up the pot after you use it. It also has a variable temperature control which means that you can quickly boil water, slowly heat milk for cocoa, or simmer a bit of broth. Really, a great design.

I was on a mission to find a stainless steel hot pot(not plastic or aluminum) to heat up these foods quickly. This is it. It also washes out easily and quickly. Be sure to read the directions for use (on what you can and cannot heat up). Good price especially for the quality. I just noticed that this is currently unavailable thru Amazon. What a pity, I hope they bring it back.

"good", Most cheap hot pots are made of plastic - this one is stainless steel and priced roughly the same. It's very sturdy, the handle is very secure, and because it's steel you don't need to worry about stains.
