"Awful"
Been cooking the slow cooker since 6AM. It's now 8PM and the pulled pork is still not near cooked. In a cheap slow cooker that I also have going simultaneously, the cheap cooker had the pork done perfectly since 5 PM.

"Great alternative to buying a 2nd oven!!!"
We bought this to cook our Christmas Turkey since we were cooking another large dish that needed the oven at the same time. I had never heard of anyone using this but read reviews and decided it was cheaper than a kitchen overhaul for a 2nd oven needed a couple of times a year. I made a 20 lb turkey and it came out so great...cooked faster than I was expecting but I was able to leave it in just shut off without drying out. It was moist and delicious! The skin does brown but doesn't leave a crispy skin like you'd get in a regular oven so I'd suggest either dealing with it (I don't eat the skin anyways) or perhaps finishing it in the regular oven for the last 1/2 hr to brown the skin. I also made a large mac & cheese casserole for work pot luck soon after getting it. I cooked in the cookwell in my regular oven the night before (wanted a crispy topping) but then reheated at work and it worked perfectly.

Disregard the bad review about the smoking..directions clearly state that you need to let it smoke for about at least an hour before using in a well ventilated area prior to first use. We did that outside and then had no problems with smoking later. If I were getting again, I would probably choose the stainless (I bought non-stick) since I'm finding the nonstick is tough to get the stains out of.

You can't go wrong with this product!

"Roasters worked well and had no problems"
We bought these cookers to use during an office party "chili cook-off". Both roasters worked well and had no problems, although we only used them once so far.

"Odiferous"
When I received the Roaster Oven I followed the instructions on heating the roaster up to burn off the manufacturing residues. The instructions were to heat it at 450 degrees for two hours. It was so smelly in the kitchen that I moved out to the patio. This was two days before Thanksgiving. The roaster was heated to 450 three separate times for a total of several hours. On Thanksgiving it was still giving off fumes so I was afraid to use it for the turkey. This was the main reason for purchasing the product. It was used at Christmas for a ham and the fumes were much less and didn't seem to affect the ham's taste or quality. Except for the described problem the product is what I expected and should perform well in the future.

"Very happy with Roaster"
I used the Roaster Oven for my Thanksgiving turkey and Christmas ham and they both turned out delicious! I purchased the roaster because I have a small oven and am very happy with my purchase. Very easy to use and to clean.
