"For my purposes it works wonderfully.", I wanted a little vaccum for my upstairs bathroom, so I could vaccum up cat litter without having to haul my big vaccum up the stairs every day. For that purpose, this vaccum is great. It sucks up the cat litter very thoroughly, gets along the walls well, and it's really easy to just toss the litter from the cup into the trash when I am done.
Set up was a breeze, as everything just clicks together.
It even comes with attachments, but I haven't tried switching to the hose yet.
It has really good suction power, but is quite surprisingly loud for such a little thing.
I second what everyone else has to say about carpeting. When I try to vaccum the litter off of a throw rug with pretty high pile, it will not move. I have to dump the litter off of the rug, and then vaccum it up.
I'm 5'2" so it's a great height for me, but if you were taller, I could see you would have a problem with the length of the handle.
It's not cordless, but that was what I was looking for, since I didn't want to have to bother with batteries. I can't comment negatively on the length of the cord, since it easily covers the space I need in my bathroom, with cord to spare.
The HEPA filter is a nice bonus, and the air really does feel cleaner after I've vaccumed.
All in all, just what I was looking for, and for $25 on sale, it couldn't be beat, but buyer beware if you are expecting it to do more than what I described.

"Simply awful", Purchased the product last year, it never cleaned well and stopped working althougher in September. Sent the product in per the customer service representative and they did nothing.

"Not good", Does not suck up well. Cheaply made. I no longer have it because it broke!

"Waste of money!", Another disposable product by Shark. Gets clogged easily and the bottom breaks off easily - Don't believe what they say about lifting 150 lbs- that's not true unless you can use it on the moon! In my oppinion, This vacuum is not much better than a cheap stick vac except it doesn't last as long.

"Annoying and only somewhat useful", I live in a narrow and cluttered NYC apartment so I purchased this vacuum thinking that it could be used to clean up the floors and the attached hose could be used get under all the futurniture and other surfaces.

It works ok at best on the open floor but when you get down on your hands and knees to try to get under the futons and behind bookcases, the exhaust ends up blowing the dust bunnies all over the place. Unless you cradle the body of the vacuum against your body so that the strong exhaust dosen't end up scattering the dust you were trying to pick up, it ends up creating a bigger mess than when you started.

It could be extremely useful as its light weight and versitile, but the design flaws make it a complete waste of money.

"powerful little electric broom", i own an oreck vacuum for the rugs in the kids room, but 75% of my house (approx 1500 sq. feet) is sealed hardwood oak floors. i have two dogs, a rottweiler and a jack russell terrier, who shed quite a lot year round. the oreck is very good for the carpeted areas, but the beater bar feature just sort of blows the dirt and hair around the wood floors and is clumsy in the corners. after reading the reviews i decided to try the euro-pro shark. the price was great with free shipping. it's very small and lighthweight which is a plus, and stores easily in my broom closet. it has a lot of suction power on the wood floors, and picks up all the dog hair easily, even in the corners and under the radiater registers. i've tried other electric brooms, but they didn't have anywhere near the suction of the shark and are made much more cheaply, the last one i had actually snapped in half. if you're looking for a heavy duty vacuum for carpets, this is not the one, but if you want a powerful little electric broom for hard floor surfaces i would highly reccomend this one.

"Disappointing item", I bought this item about 6 months ago. After 2 months the handle fell off. On phoning the company, they said plastic parts were only guaranteed for 1 month, hence they would not replace it. After another 2 months, the unit stopped working altogether. I then got in touch with the company and managed to speak to a very rude customer service representative, who said I would have to send it to the company and pay for shipping and handling myself, yet it says in the handbook that the company would pay for the shipping. I am truely disappointed with the lack of customer care and the appliance. I do believe I have a faulty appliance but the compnay is not at all bothered to keep its customers happy. I do not reccomend that anyone buy this item, save your money and all the hastle.

"BEST LITTLE VACUUM EVER", I have owned and used many vacuum cleaners ranging from canister to upright, bag and bagless. This little shark does the job of a much larger cleaner. I like it because it is light weight, easy to maneuver, and is great for hardwood, vinyl, and carpeted floors. I can vacuum my smaller rugs with it as well, and I don't have to shake them out as often. There are no bags to buy and it has a hepa filter which is great. You do have to empty the smaller cup more often, about once after several cleanings, which is easy to do. If I should ever have to buy another vacuum it will be this same one. I love it!

"Poor custmer service, faulty vacuum", This vacuum does a good job of picking up dirt, etc.; however, after 5 minutes of use the filter was plugged and the vacuum shut down. I cleaned the filters as described in the manual and tried to vacuum again. The red light signalling that the filter was dirty came on as soon as I began vacuuming. I contacted the company and they sent me out a new filter to try and remedy the problem of the red light coming on. The light still came on with the new filter, so I once again contacted the company. They instructed me to send the unit back and they would exchange it for a new vacuum. After 4 weeks of not receiving my new vacuum I once again called the company. They didn't know why there had been a delay, but that the vacuum would be sent out asap. I received the vacuum a week later to find that they sent me the same BROKEN vacuum that I had returned to them. I called the company and demanded a refund to which I got the reply that they don't issue refunds, only exchanges (which would cost me the shipping cost back to them again). After much persistance on my part they agreed to refund my money and have UPS come pick up my machine. I'm still waiting for UPS to arrive as well as my refund.

"Great vacuum!", No more big bulky vacuums for me! This vacuum works wonderfully. It cleaned my carpets and my floors..no problem. They look great! I like the fact that I don't need an extra small hand held vacuum to do my stairs or baseboards. It has 2 settings with lots of suction power. I just wish it had a longer power cord!
