I'm going to buy another set and at $19.99 they are a wonderful bargain. I've put them in the dishwasher for six months now and they are still like new. These are one solid piece, cut like a dream, and look elegant. There are six people at our house but only four knives and everyone fights for these knives.

"Do not buy this set !", I bought this set a month ago and was amazed to discover that the handles rust very easily ! I usually really like Calphalon stuff but these knives suck. Do not buy.

"Excellent Knives", I had a set of steak knives sent to me as a result of buying another Calphalon product and since the first time we used them we loved them. They look like a very fine cutlery and do an amazing job slicing any kind of food. Even though I wash them in the dishwasher, they look fine and cut finely. Even some of our friends were impressed when they tried them. I would recommend them to everyone.

"Stylish and practical", After using several sets of "included" steak knives with various cutlery blocks, I finally decided to buy a set of steak knives. These are very elegant, do a great job of cutting, and feel quite nice in the hand. So far, they have retained a good edge as well.

As with any knives, hand-washing is better for the blade, but these have weathered the dishwasher with no trouble.

Overall, for the price and the look, I am highly satisfied with the set.
