"Not 5mm" These are not 5mm thick they are about half that. Despite bubble wrap, out of the 50 I got, 6 of them were broken and a few more had cracks in them from the shipping. It would have been easier to go to the store but then you'd have to take time trying to find it and all. "NO DISPENSER -- THE ITEMS ARE LOOSE" My recollection of buying other items like this is that they were packaged such that when I removed a wrapping what remained was a dispenser of some sort. Not with these. Take a close look at the picture. Note that when you remove the yellow band (which is under cellophane) all the items are loose. Very disappointing. Other than that, how can there be much difference between plastic disc cases? "Good price on useful product" Not much to review... Useful product with a low price. I took advantage of the free shipping option. The jewel cases arrived well-packaged. Will buy again from Amazon when I need more. "Jewel C ases" These slim jewel cases are nice .. and I'll be using them... but I ordered the wrong item. I wanted to order DVD covers, the slim ones .. guess that was my fault. "slim jewel cases for cd's, dvd's" i make a lot of dvd's from pbs, discovery, and cd's from vinyl records. I like the slim cases because more of them fit on a shelf. It arrived quickly, packed well, and in fine shape.

"CD case", Cases were fine for price paid..although cheap plastic and 4 of them were broken when received "Good price, arrived damaged", A very good price for this product, however Amazon does not package them very well for shipping, as noted in other reviews. Minimal packing material resulted in 4 of them arriving damaged. It wasn't bad enough to merit the hassle of returning them. I contacted Amazon and they refunded 10% off the purchase price. This was a reasonable outcome. But better packaging would avoid this whole problem for Amazon's customers. "Broken and cracked cases", Two of the CD cases arrived broken in the sealed package and I was unable to use them. About a dozen more were cracked. "neat little casses", These DVD Cases are just big enough to safely protect my DVD's yet do not take up a lot of extra space. They do the trick . . . good product and fast shipping. I would buy from this seller again. "Don't buy jewel cases mail-order. Ever.", The product itself I can't fault: these are your standard slim jewel cases. But sheesh, do a lot of them arrive broken. Truth is, I've never ordered cases from any supplier (Amazon, newegg, outpost, or wherever) that didn't arrive with at least 10% of the cases cracked or broken. They just don't ship well. If they seem like a good bargain, remember that you'll lose a good percentage of them. And even if the retailer will take them back, it's never worth the bother of returning them. Add to that the shipping charge, and it starts to look like it makes more sense to buy these at your local office supply store where you can inspect them for breakage before you buy. That has been my experience, anyway. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Fine media jewel cases", These slim jewel cases by Memorex provide sturdy protection for CDs and DVDs as well as CD-Rs, DVD-Rs, and more! I have been fortunate in that the cases I bought never cracked when I tried to open them. Could that be because I'm a 90 pound weakling? SMILE Well, I doubt it--I think these are well constructed. They hold together for years at a time and that's great. Moreover, these slender jewel cases provide excellent storage for media and they measure roughly half the width of the older, original jewel cases that seem far too wide and "fat" today. You can stick a "post-it" note to the front of the jewel case to indicate what's on the disc inside, too. Moreover, these jewel cases are affordable--and that's great in these times. Each case costs roughly 40 cents which is great considering how long these will last for you. Years' worth of storage space! These jewel cases can be storing discs on bookshelves, cabinet shelves or whatever. They are not ugly, either. Overall, I highly recommend this CD/DVD jewel cases for anyone who wants compact yet sturdy storage for their media. Use these in good health! SMILE "handle with care", The cases are fine but extremly fragile even if dropped on capet they break,so if you drop them on the floor or any hard surface forget it it's gone. I estimate about 20 to 30 % you may break. I don't see anything else better on the market so you just have to deal with it. "Oh I will buy this product again". "Good Cases", These are good jewel cases. I have used a lot of them from this 50 pack to store DVDs in that I have burned movies on via my DVD set top recorder and they have served the purpose very well. The only complaint about this item is that one of the jewel cases on one end was cracked when I opened the package. Other than that I was satisfied overall with the jewel cases. "Fast delivery but some broken tabs", packaging by mfg doesn't keep tabs from being broken off, but vendor was great. "These Jewel Cases are fine", These clear jewel cases make it easy to see what you have and the slim design saves space. I use them for cd's and dvd's. I haven't had any problems with them; they are a good value. |
