The handles do get hot, but just use oven mits.

"Awesome set and great deal!", Ive been using this set for about 2 months now. So far there are no signs of wear. They feel sturdy and cook evenly. I'm pretty happy with them. A similar set from Beds, Bath, and Beyond will run $200-500. I had a similar style set that I bought at Sam's Wholesale Club. I believe the brand was Member's Mark. They were wearing out pretty quickly and for some reason the oil seemed to stain the sides. But with this set it's not the case. I'm guessing the metal is a harder one.

"Not Stay Cool Handles", My tender hands find the handles on the covers don't stay cool enough for me to use without pot holders. It's also heavier than I expected, but I guess eventually I will build up some muscles in my arms to easily handle the bigger pots. The width of the steamer insert makes it easy for me to steam larger plates of food!

"Great Pans", I had an old set of these pans for the last 10 years. They still are really in good shape. I seen these on sale and just had to get a spare for when my old ones finally give out.I love them!!

"Great if you like non stick cookware", The non stick coating on this set is fantastic. You can easily cook eggs and meat without any need for oils or spray. The lids fit well, and the pans feel good in your hand. The handles on the stockpots heat up pretty quickly, but all of the pans and pots are oven safe, so that's a big plus if you like to transfer from the stovetop to the oven. Great set. Watch the price because it fluctuates a lot. I got mine for $149 here on amazon.

"Great for the Amazon Price.", I LOVED these pans when I first bought them here on Amazon about 2 years ago. Since that time the nonstick coating has begun to wear and with each use it appears it is getting worse. The small pot managed to get banged and the lid no longer fits. At 159 dollars I am about to just order another set and be done with it. IF I had paid the 803 dollar suggested retail I would have been fuming! I wish there was a way to just purchase the saute pans as those are the ones that now stick, but since there is no way to order just those I will get the complete set again and store the other pots for future use. For 159 dollars and free shipping - the pans are definitely worth it!

"Really, really nice.", Cooking is not my favorite thing...but this set makes me like cooking a little more. I'm sure they will last a long time. My previous less expensive set lasted 10 years.

"Excellent value Quality Item .", I may be spoiled because of the shock ( in a good way ) of using these after having either cooked on cast iron or raggedy non-stick cookware . Better value than any other set in this range ( even at double the cost ! )With the 20.00 drop to 130 bucks and it still has super saver shipping you can't go wrong . Two things though , wash them by hand ( clean up is super easy . Also don't overheat them they seem to transfer the heat from the stovetop very efficiently. Pans also have a nice heft . One other thing . Make sure you have potholders as the lids are metal and get pretty warm .

"Anolon Professional Cookware Set", Wow! This cookware set rocks! I'm not much of a cook but with these pans I feel like one. I cook a lot more because of how nice they are to use. Plus, as an added bonus, they wash like a dream. No more scrubbing for me!

"Nice set of cookware for the price", I purchased this cookware for my youngest daughter. For her needs, these pots and pans are ideal. They are higher end than what she had and work for the type of cooking she does. She really likes the way they easily clean up, the variety of sizes and shapes, and their appearance. They would not, however, be appropriate for my own use as I am a much more adventurous cook than she is. I cook at a higher heat and would warp these in no time. That does not make them a bad set of pans in the slightest and I would recommend them to anyone with average cooking needs.
