"Crazy Fan"
For a small 9" fan it pushes a shipload of air and is relatively quiet. I have owned countless fans and have used industrial units at my business, so I have some hands-on exp with in this area. I gave this one to my kid at Univ of Arizona. 105 degree days!

"Holmes crap fan"
This fan was bought to use as a clip fan, however, one thing became clear upon using the fan... it sucks. When turned on, the fan did not spin. I took the cover off and turned it on again, after much spinning, the fan began to spin on it's own, but very slowly. It definitely won't move enough air to make a difference.

DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE FANS!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

"Had to buy two fans."
I bought two fans. The first fan I bought I sent to a soldier in Iraq. He asked fo a small oscillating fan, it's 115 degrees in Iraq. I don't know what happened but after a couple of weeks he asked for a second fan, the first one broke. I didn't have time to shop around so I purchased a second fan. I guess that one is working OK, he hasn't commented on it.

"Nice little fan"
Not as versatile as I would like, but all it was advertised to be. Fits into the small space where I need it.

"Very Nice Desktop Fan"
Does just what it ought to - cools your face when the weather is hot, and is not too loud. Fire up a movie or a game, and the fan fades into the background, as it should. Good product.

What our customer's say!

""Fey" fan here !", A little pricey, a little late on delivery, and not easy to use in our bathroom.

"Fan is quiet but not powerful enough", For a clip on fan this isn't a bad choice. It has an extremely sturdy clip however the motor isn't powerful enough. Maybe for a clip on fan this is the best they could do without making it obnoxiously loud.

"Ok for the price...disposable fan", I had this fan for about a year, using it every day at my desk. It was nice because I could clip it to my bookcase and have the breeze right near my face. It worked fine during that time and I was happy with its performance and output. After a year it started getting temperamental. It would not turn on when I operated the switch, at either speed, unless I jiggled the switch around for a bit, then it would come on. I got tired of messing with that, so then I just left it on 24/7. It worked for a few more weeks and then suddenly died. I tossed it, and got a different fan.

The reason that I give 3 stars is that it worked ok for a year, and it's been my experience that these cheapo fans only last about that long anyway before they burn out. So if you consider this to be a disposable fan that will work for about a year, I suppose the price is about right. I have a coworker who has had one of these for years (although she doesn't have it on EVERY day like I did) and it has worked fine for years. So who knows?

"Doesn't work well", The low speed stopped working a short while after I bought it--so it's either high speed or nothing. And then the side-to-side adjustment (if not in oscillating mode) gets stuck a lot and won't allow adjustment. This is just not a quality piece of merchandise.

"Holmes 9" fan", So far it is working great. Would have liked a little more air flow but it does the job. For the cost you can't beat it and it is the only one in this size that oscillates.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"not enough breeze", I wasn't satisfied with this fan. I thought the oscillation would be a good plus, but the breeze it produces just isn't strong enough. I returned it and bought the Holmes HACP7W 7-Inch Clip-On Personal Fan which I'm very happy with.

"A piece of JUNK!!! NO STARS!!", The button on the fan that makes the fan head turn BROKE the same day I took it out of the box. The fan head will almost turn to the left but just before it is susppose to start back it gets stuck and makes a clicking noise. The fan's highest speed setting is not as high as I thought it would be, with the lowest speed setting I can barely feel it.

"Not much to add : )", Great fan for the price, all the previous reviews pretty much cover it, but I though I'd add that the "neck" is multi-segmented which makes it easy to get this fan to point/oscillate anywhere you want it regardless of what its clamped to.

"Osilllating Clip Fan", It was bigger than I thought. The cord is long enough for me. The Clip is very sturdy and can grip a thick surface. The two speeds are handy. However, it has lighter output than expected. I like the adjustable angles it can make. I have no regrets buying this fan.

"Cool For Less!", Holmes HACP9 Oscilllating Clip Fan
is a great way to cool things down in a flash. Smart looking and compact design. Low motor noise is a plus. The clip feature is great for your office or college dorm room.
