"fan" This excellent item serves me well in my indoor cycling exercise classes. Its rotating feature even allows me to share its benefit with nearby class participants, and has proved very durable over the past several months since I purchased it. Furthermore, locating it and ordering was uniquely convenient, as no other source seems to offer it on such reasonable terms. "A fan of the fan" The Holmes HACP9 Oscillating Clip Fan is a nice unit. It's fairly quiet and seems well build, and the price is right for all it's features. The only slight I have against it is that I would have liked the high setting to have a little more kick. Overall, if you looking for a well built, small, oscillating fan, the HACP9 will most likely fit the bill. "Fits expectations" Fan works well. Has a sturdy clip and does a good job of moving air for a fan its size. I bought an Optimus F-0645S 6-Inch 2-Speed Convertible Personal Clip-On/Table Fan at the same time, and the Holmes is of higher quality and works better than the Optimus. "clip on fan" Puts off a good amount of wind for the size. Goes back and forth or stays stationary .So far so good. "Great Aquarium cooler" Keeps the thermometer on my nano reef in the green. Its cheaper than the solutions offered by aquarium suppliers too.

"Best Buy for Oscillating Fan BY FAR", This fan is awesome-it had good reviews and all were true, it is quiet in both modes and provide just the right air flow I needed for a small 10x10 office in my desk space. It is a solid little fan too, heavyweight and of good solid construction which I was impressed, it is not a flimsy peice of plastic junk, this fan is SOLID and made well with a firm Clip for hanging onto many office items......I am VERY HAPPY with this as a Soldier because we need items that last an eternity!!! "Great little fan", We bought this fan online because we could not find one in the stores after summer was over with. Its a great little fan, we like the rotating feature. We bought one and a few weeks later purchased another one for a different room. Very satisfied. "Excellent fan", This fan's motor won't cool you down if you need a strong breeze, but it will provide a modest stream of air for moderate needs at the highest setting. I still commend it's highly portable, durable and flexible mounting clamp. It swivels flawlessly. The price is right! "Where's the Air??", If this fan is 2 inches from you it might keep you cool. Mechanically it works fine but even on high it puts out very little air. The clamp holds tight and could be a handy little fan. I bought it to use in my camper but see very little practical use. "For $20 it does the job and keeps your cubie as cool as a cucumber :)", I've had this model for a few months now and have been quite satisfied. The motor puts out plenty or RPMs, I usually run it on low, and it's small and stows away easily for when I have to move cubicles or (gah) change jobs. Great little fan at a cheap price for the average cubicle sailor in a hot zone :) 
Read this reviews before You buy... ""Fey" fan here !", A little pricey, a little late on delivery, and not easy to use in our bathroom. "Fan is quiet but not powerful enough", For a clip on fan this isn't a bad choice. It has an extremely sturdy clip however the motor isn't powerful enough. Maybe for a clip on fan this is the best they could do without making it obnoxiously loud. "Ok for the price...disposable fan", I had this fan for about a year, using it every day at my desk. It was nice because I could clip it to my bookcase and have the breeze right near my face. It worked fine during that time and I was happy with its performance and output. After a year it started getting temperamental. It would not turn on when I operated the switch, at either speed, unless I jiggled the switch around for a bit, then it would come on. I got tired of messing with that, so then I just left it on 24/7. It worked for a few more weeks and then suddenly died. I tossed it, and got a different fan. The reason that I give 3 stars is that it worked ok for a year, and it's been my experience that these cheapo fans only last about that long anyway before they burn out. So if you consider this to be a disposable fan that will work for about a year, I suppose the price is about right. I have a coworker who has had one of these for years (although she doesn't have it on EVERY day like I did) and it has worked fine for years. So who knows? "Doesn't work well", The low speed stopped working a short while after I bought it--so it's either high speed or nothing. And then the side-to-side adjustment (if not in oscillating mode) gets stuck a lot and won't allow adjustment. This is just not a quality piece of merchandise. "Holmes 9" fan", So far it is working great. Would have liked a little more air flow but it does the job. For the cost you can't beat it and it is the only one in this size that oscillates. |
