"Farberware cookware set", Farberware Cookware has been in our family for generations, quality company, quality cookware, stainless offers good cooking options, withstands, lasts forever, cleans well. For my daughters bridal gift I decided on Farberware Cookware 15 piece set of stainless variety standard sizes pots, pans & lids which also includes a set of 3 sizes of stainless bowls with plastic lids. Though Farberware Cookware has made a change I'm not a fan of as this sets pans (not the pots) are teflon interior instead of stainless, teflon doesnt last as long as stainless & I believe Farberware should offer the usual stainless interior pans with their sets & sell teflon separate for those interested. Thus happily I did purchase a used but new conditioned Farberware Cookware 3 size stainless interior pan/lids set on Ebay to include with this 15 piece set purchased from Amazon.com for my daughter. Nevertheless search pricing for this exact 15 piece Farberware Cookware set ranged from $120 & up plus shipping, but Amazon.com definately carried the best most remarkable price at $99 plus about $17 shipping! But, remarkably more so, before I made the actual purchase, the set went on sale at Amazon.com for $89 and FREE shipping! Wow! what an Amazon of a bargain! A beautiful set of Farberware Cookware at a great bargain & absolutely great transaction! As long as Amazon.com is this outstanding & keeps me happy, I will continue to shop with Amazon.com! 5 STARS* to Amazon.com!

"Excellent Product", Farberware definitely lives up to the reputation. This set is amazing. Obviously can't speak for the durability yet but the quality is great.

"We even bought two more sets!", We were so impressed with both price and quality of our Farberware 15 piece cooking set, we bought two more sets for our children and their families. Our daughter-in-law recently commented about how easy they are to clean and that it is a much better built pan set than the set given to them on their wedding that cost around $500.00!

"Easy care - wonderful set", I have thoroughly enjoyed my Farberware set. Purchased a little over a year ago, it has been soooo much better performing that a more expensive set we received when we got married. (I finally had to throw it out - it looked terrible). All the pots and lids can go into the dishwasher (although I usually wash the pots and always the skillets by hand). The lids fit the skillets too. I have even enjoyed the metal storage containers. Thank you, Farberware.

"Farberware and home cooking", I need cookware. What a dilema. I bought cookware in 2001 off the television. Two different sets. Popular, and with much notoriety. These shoping channel's were the department store floor. A set of cookware is endorsed and named for a prominanet chef. I hate it. The lids are becomming destroyed in the dishwasher( both sets). One set with gold accents in color looks awful, after the first year. Like its color is being rubbed or washed off in dishwasher. Both sets have knobs on lids and are hard to grasp with towels ( pot holder), when hot. The other set is stainless finish. Major issue 1.Water trapped in lid from dishwasher (both sets). Major Issue 2. Handles hollow. Water does not drain out well (both sets). Why? do these issues bother me. Germs and bacteria can form and hide here, without being completely sanatized in my dishwasher. I bought them and stored them for a year. Had never experinced such modern cookware. Return policy is up . Hmm had no other cookware and could not replace or return the two sets. They have been used now.

Farberware hmm what can I say. I began cooking with Farberware and aspired to be a chef. My mother had Farberware the same set for over 30 years. What does that say. I am coming home. Put the tea kettle on.
Give me Farberware, freedom from all other cookware. Liberty to exercise my rights for great cookware. To show Justice to all other cookware. Wisdom to stay away and not buy all other cookware. May all ingrediants be blessed before and during the interaction process with ALL Farberware producs. cooking is my artistic license. Farberware my muse and brush (tools). My plate the canvass. My stomach ahh the critic. Maintenance normal wash. Hand or machine. Bar keepers friend on tough areas. no dents no warping or chipping. My mother always said to me keep a screwdrive in your kitchen drawer for knobs and Farberware contact information for an occasional handle, knob or part. Which we never replaced.

"As good as my mothers set from 1968!!!", Not much has changed in 37 years!! I needed a new set of pans and wanted a non-teflon set. I didn't even bother looking at those expensive $400 sets, I looked right in my mom's pots and pans cupboard. She has the same Faberware set she received for her wedding in 1968. My thoughts were, I can't go wrong her set looks as good as new! So I went right to the internet and compared prices at about 5 sites and went with Amazon.com. Best deal and FREE shipping!
Best advice from me; don't waste your time looking at other brands they are too overpriced and when your ready to buy save yourself time and buy from Amazon!

"Not quite as good as the old stuff", Farberware classic is great -- an inexpensive yet equally functional alternative to the very expensive pots & pans. Note: recently Farberware reduced its quality, in that older Farberware pots & pans had their thick aluminum base completely encased within a stainless steel shell. The newer pots & pans have the aluminum base attached to the bottom, but not encased within a stainless steel bottom. So, their quality is less than it was; most people who "grew up with Farberware" may not realize this. Farberware used to hold the patent on the technique of having the aluminum base CURVE up the side of the pan -- they no longer do this, and are the same as many other manufacturers.

"Nice set for reasonable price!", There is an offer going on on amazon for this set. You can instantly receive 25$ off and then 20$ for future purchase. So the total cost comes to 84!! Gud price compared to other shops and outlets!! The still is also good quality and thik at bottom!! Overall its gud investment!

"where o where are the stainless frypans of yore?", I have used my Farberware stainless steel starter set constantly ever since I received it 37 years ago when I got married. Then the frypans were stainless steel--same guage as the pots and even the eggs still don't stick. Now I want to start my daughter off with the same set--and all that is offered is ordinary aluminum non-stick skillets. Definitely a downgrade. Wish I could find a set on special--but with stainless frypans.
