"Simple, inexpensive, works great!"
Great little coffee grinder. Grinds to very fine which is great for me, you should be drinking Seattle's Tully's coffee..grind them beans..yummmm

"Worth the price"
This grinder works well for me as i make at most 6 cups of coffee at a time. If you make bigger pots frequently you may want a different model as you would have to grind a couple batches of beans. Not very loud and the button allows you grind to the right consistency pretty easily.

"It didn't last"
This grinder laster about 5 months. I would be happy to spend more money for a machine that would last longer.

"Not worth buying this grinder"
I purchased this product based on the feedback and seeing the price. However after using it for a month, it stopped working and now it cannot be returned to amazon. I dont know if I can get a replacement from the manufacturer, however the point is that a product going bad in a month time frame is not good even if its cheap.
Also, it makes quite a loud noise and doesnt grind very fine. No option of multiple speed as well.

"Oldest appliance in my kitchen"
My mom got this for me when I was in college about 3 years ago. When I got most of my appliances I got the cheapest stuff on the market because i needed so much stuff. I figured I could replace everything as it broke down later down the road.

I have since replaced every appliance except for the Toastmaster Coffee Grinder. I have used it every morning since the day I got it unless I was out of town. I've used it to chop nuts and even once I tried it with fresh herbs (didn't work so well). I've never even sharpened the blades. It's pretty easy to clean. I love that the cord wraps up underneath. If you daily grind...... GET THIS ONE.

What our customer's say!

"Good appliance", This machine has worked really well for everything I've used it for so far. That includes flax, walnuts, almonds and sunflower seeds. Sometimes it leaves a few seeds unground, and I have to shake the machine a little to get them down where they get ground, but it's no biggie. I'd recommend it!

"Great Bean Grinder!", Excellent machine for this price. We don't grind fresh beans daily, but did grind a pound of beans, in a manner of a few short minutes. Also used this machine to grate up fresh citrus rind I needed for a recipe. did a great job.

"Coffee Grinder", I am very happy with the coffee grinder that I purchased. It works very well and was reasonably priced.

"Coffee & Nut Grinder", Good grinder, works well. Only holds a small capacity, as you would expect for a coffee grinder. I have only used it to grind spices and nuts in small quantities, as I don't drink fresh coffee, but I'm sure it would work well for that. A little painful to clean as there are ridges and you can only wipe out with a cloth. A good improvement on this product would for be for it to come in a stainless steel finish as well. But it was cheap, so I guess you can't expect too much style, just a reliable grinder, which it is.

"It works great!!", I ordered this grinder after reading how good ground flaxseed was for you. This grinder was reasonably priced, and the grinding was so easily accomplished. Cleanup is easy, and the grinder fits nicely in the cabinet.

"Just Great", I can grind coffee beans, and even, more importantly, grind grinds into espresso, giving my regular coffee a thick & rich, espresso texture. Yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy. Now all my coffee taste freshly ground.

"Exactly what I was looking for", I'm on a flax seed kick and needed something to grind the seeds with. I looked at those tiny seeds and thought, should I just try to smash them up?? I read where people used coffee grinders. I have one but I could never get the coffee oils and taste out, so I decided to buy a new one. The price on this was reasonable and it works perfectly. I grind some flax seeds and put on oatmeal for breakfast. In the evening I get my grinder out and grind some more flax seed to put in yogurt. It's easy to use and quickly store.

"Works great!", Good value for the price, I don't need an expensive coffee grinder with lots of bells and whistles. I wish the blade could be removed for easier cleaning, but otherwise it's been a good buy. At the price, I might buy another one to grind spices.

"Solid, if basic, grinder", I bought this for 5.99 at a discount store. It isn't a top of line the grinder, but anyone looking at this price range shouldn't be expecting it to be. As far as basic grinders go, its as good as any of the others.

My mother has one along the lines of this, a Braun, which seems to have a more powerful motor and is much louder. When she saw mine she liked it because it was quieter. Though I will say that the her Braun just has a gap at the bottom to wind the cord on, rather than the partially enclosed winder on the bottom of this one; I prefer the Braun. Just a space to wind it seems much more simple and effective than messing with the cumbersome cord keeper on this.

I know someone who has another along these lines thats a proctor-silex. Its quiet like this one, but is smaller, holds less beans and has an annoying cover thats flat on one edge. I think its to assist the beans from not getting hung up, but its seems to make things more awkward when you go to get the grind out.

None of this style of grinder are really mess-free, and this one is no different.

That being said, for $6 it lasted 2 1/2 years with nary a problem. Can hardly go wrong with it.

"Works Great & It's quite too!", Very good price for a small coffee grinder that is quite. I love it!
