"Great Coffee"
I had another brand percolator that broke and i went to a drip coffee maker well i couldn't wait to get another percolator. Reading the reviews i decided to try the Presto. My coffee sure tastes alot better. Once you use a electric percolator nothing else compares to the taste.

"Good coffee"
This is a good coffe pot. The coffee is made very fast and it stays hot a long time. The first few pots I made were with a very coarse grind. The coffee was too weak for my taste. After that I used Sam's Choice French Roast and it was very strong (just like I like it).
I've not had any problems cleaning it and my fear of finger prints on the stainless steal was groundless. Overall it has been just what we needed for our morning coffee fix.

"life long love affair with this coffee maker"
We first started buying this coffee maker when it was made in the USA - so this has been "sort of a member of the family" for 40 years.
We normally get about 10 years out of a Presto coffee maker, and I usually buy two at a time. I only bought one when I ordered from Amazon, cause they are made in China now. Waiting for the new one to arrive, I researched "revitalizing" a coffee maker on the internet ... and following the advice given ... using about two quarts of vinegar ... viola, the old one continued to work ... so I can't give an evaluation of the Chinese variety.

"No more plastic coffee makers!"
I have been trying to get plastic out of my life. It is impossible to find a drip coffee maker that isn't plastic so I went in search of a percolator. This one works great and is made of stainless steel. Percolators make a good strong, hot cup of coffee. It is easy to use and clean. The only draw back was that it wouldn't shut itself off. To fix that problem I bought a programable timer. Now the coffee maker will turn on and off by itself just like a drip machine - but no plastic.

"Great!!!"
I received this product and its wonderful. I love the slow brew and excellent taste it creates. Easy to clean and maintain. I suggest you purchase the filters to have a smooth and clear cup of coffee.

What our customer's say!

"Just your ordinary coffee pot", This is just an ordinary coffee pot. I will say that I was looking for a coffee pot that doesn't have aluminum or plastic and this fit the bill. It works just fine. Does not have the quality of my old GE pot but hopefully it will work longer than that pot. Do wish that it did not have the spout but had a direct pour from a lip at the top.

"Nice coffeemaker with the best cup of coffee ever", I remember my mother's freshly perked coffee that awakened you in the morning. That aroma that a drip coffee maker just can't provide, so I decided to try a percolator after all these years and this Presto coffeemaker did the trick. It makes a great cup of coffee, clean and rich with that great coffee flavor I remember. It is easy to clean and the price is perfect. I might suggest filters if you grind your own beans as I do, to keep those fine grinds from falling to the bottom of your pot, but otherwise this coffeemaker can't be beat and I would recommend it to my friends.

"Very, very pleased", From the first pot of coffee, right out of the box, I am very happy with the outcome. I wondered, as I was measuring out the ground coffee, whether it would be too weak or too strong, since it's been 40 years since I used a percolator, but I measured according to instruction booklet, 5 TBSP for 6 cups. First pot was truly my idea of a perfect cup of coffee, and I've been consistently pleased since then. One personal preference -- you don't have to use coffee filters, according to Presto directions, but I like the way the coffee comes out with the filters. I buy the white "junior filters", punch a small hole in the middle, and fit it down into the basket, a near-perfect fit. Enjoy!

"Presto 12 cup SS Coffeemaker", For my money, this is the best coffemaker made for the price. They make very good coffee and last practically forever----except for the electrical plug and they do last for a long time, too.

"presto stainless steel coffemaker", wonderful product. This was a gift for my husband. He had the same presto coffemakermaker for 36 years and it stopped working just a few months ago. My husband loves it.

"Steaming hot!", I purchased the Presto Coffemaker for my parents. The one that they had did not perk the coffee hot enough. My dad had to heat the coffee in the microwave after it perked. The feature that was most important was that the maker brewed the coffee hot and kept it hot. Well, this coffe pot hit both marks, as far as my parents were concerned. They have had it for 5 weeks now and have been enjoying hot coffee ever since!
I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone who is looking for a coffee maker that is competively priced, perks coffee fairly quickly (within 10 minutes), perks the coffee hot and keeps it hot.

"Great coffee", The coffee pot is great but I recommend using the Melitta Percolator Coffee Filters. The coffee is hot!

"COFFEE POT", Works great and makes really good coffee. It takes about 10 minutes to perk but it's worth it. If you don't want the dregs in your coffee make sure you purchase the filters to go with it.

"Great so far...", I bought this because I recently switched to using a Senseo machine and pods most of the time for convenience (the coffee is very decent too). I no longer have the room to keep a drip machine set up in addition to the Senseo. Sometimes I still feel like a pot of my home roasted coffee and the devices for brewing your own coffee in the Senseo don't seem to work that well. It can also be more economical to make a pot of coffee for company, rather than go through a whole bag of Senseo pods. This percolator can be stored in less space than it takes to store a drip machine... and I have a friend who swears by percolators and makes some pretty good coffee... so I figured I'd give one a try.

The coffee this thing makes is quite good. It tastes richer and more fully extracted than what comes out of a drip machine. It lets the brighter, more complex flavors in the coffe come out, without tasting too bitter or over extracted. It really seems to pull the caffeine out of the coffee though. This could be good or bad depending on what you like... A couple cups of good Arabica out of this thing gives me a CRAZY caffeine buzz. I could only imagine what a couple cups of cheap canned coffee out of this thing would do to me... That stuff usually has more caffeine than good Arabica coffee and makes me jittery even when made in a drip machine. It's sort of fun to be able to make coffee that hits you like a hammer on weekends or for company... Don't know if I'd want to drink it every day.

Very pleased with this coffee pot so far. Love how the coffee is actually HOT when making a smaller pot, unlike most drip machines. Love how they kept the light that comes on when the coffee's ready. Totally retro!!! The pots without the light are lame... lol. Hope it lasts. I'm wondering if today's finer grinds and the filters people are using now are possibly the reason most of the percolators on the market seem to be having reliability problems. Maybe the coffee is staying in the top part of the machine too long and the bottom part gets too hot? I'm going to stick to the old-fashioned method of using a coarser grind and no filter. I haven't had any problems with grounds in the coffee. It's probably best to let any grounds settle a minute after the coffee's ready before serving.... and I wouldn't serve the very bottom of the pot out of a percolator...

"Wonderful!!!", This coffee pot is wonderful. The coffee stays hot and tasty. This is the 2nd one that I've had - the first one lasted about 9 years and was used every day, several times a day. Would definitely recommend!!
