What our customer's say!

"braun kf510", this is a great coffeemaker. easy to use. the coffee tastes great and will last for at least an hour.

"Braun has Gone Down Hill, and Fast !", I purchased this item as a replacement for a Braun model that lasted over 8 years. Was Disappointed before I even plugged it in. I should have saved some money and used a tea strainer and boiling water to make my coffee.

Pros:
1. Reasonably priced (if you expect Braun quality, but you'll be disappointed, as it's more of a toy quality)
2. Uses cone filters (the only way to go)

Cons:
1. Cheap bendable plastic (less than 1/2 the weight of the prior comparable model I owned)
2. Filter basket latch that won't co-operate (either won't open, won't latch or pops open during the middle of the night)
3. Spillable carafe (Braun never got that one right, can't pour from carafe without spilling all over the counter)
4. Prior model had multiple hot water openings to shower the grounds with hot water, this one has on hole; makes for a disappointing cup of coffee.
5. Water reservoir overflow hole in back DIRECTLY above electrical cord connection. I'm expecting to electrocute myself one of these mornings when I'm pouring water into it prior to becoming fully awake.

I can't believe Bruan would put their name on this shoddy appliance. I wonder where it was manufactured......

I now use it only to brew tea for iced tea (gotta get some use out of it before it shorts out)

Stay Away !!

"Braun is Solid Performer!", We had a Braun coffee-maker for 15 years, worked perfectly & made delicious coffee every time. It just plain wore out, so we replaced it with another Braun, which is every bit as XLNT as the original.

"BRAUN 10-CUP COFFEEMAKER - White", This is the second Braun KF510-WH AromaDeluxe 10-cup coffeemaker I've had and because of years of terrific service by my 1st one I looked all over for another. (I've never had luck with more expensive "makers" with all the bells and whistles ... none of which I need.) Couldn't find this anywhere, except in black, until I thought of good ol' Amazon. I ordered it on 5/10 & had my new machine on 5/16. I'm a HAPPY coffee consumer!!!!

"good coffeee", this is as very good coffee maker the decanter is a little awkward whjen pouring but it makes good coffee

Read this reviews before You buy...

"I Like It", I think it's wonderful. I don't have anything negative to say about it. Great price, too.

"Good Coffee Maker", This is a replacement of a similar Braun Unit. So far no problems. Makes fine coffee.

"Excellent coffee maker -- measure water as Braun instructs", I bought this coffee maker to replace my 12 year old Braun 10 cup. This is an excellent, low-frill product (The frill bing the internal Brita water filter which, if you're not already using filtered water, will make a dramatic positive difference in your coffee's taste). Always use the graduated gauge on the side of the coffee maker to measure the amount of water needed rather than the gauge on the side of the carafe (In other words, don't measure 7 cups using the carafe and pour that into the reservoir, because you will not get 7 cups when the water filters through the coffee). This is by design by Braun. The gauge on the side of the coffee maker, which measures the water actually in the reservoir, tries to take into account the amount of water retained by the coffee grounds, water that will not make it into the carafe. Use regular-grind for your coffee because fine (or "drip grind") may be too compact (at worst causing the coffee chamber to overflow and at best causing more water to be stay in by the grounds rather than flowing into the carafe.

"Great fast HOT coffee", This machine replaced my 20 year old Krups. I had used a "free" coffee maker from Gevalia, which turned out to be flimsy and made mediocre coffee, but it did look great! This machine has been worked twice a day for the last 8 months and creates fast, good tasting and hot coffee. I must add that our Krups coffee cooled over the years and the "Free" machine I used also made warm, not hot coffee. The only thing you need to pay attention to is pouring the correct amount of water into the tank, as it has to pass through the filter, so I find it easier and more accurate to fill the decanter up to the cup-line indicator instead of viewing the nice water indicator on the side of the machine. There are no timers or clocks or strength indicators, just a sturdy on/off switch that glows red when on. I absolutely recommend this sturdy machine - you could spend (a lot) more and not get a better cup of coffee .

"Excellent in its price range", I particularly wanted a cone basket, which surprisingly was not as common among coffeemakers as I thought, and I did not want to pay too much. This fit the bill. A bonus for me has been the design of the cone basket; it sits firmly on the counter and so is easy to fill. (Perhaps it has been so long since I have bot a coffeemaker that this is not an innovation, but I have memories of the cone baskets easily tipping over when filling.) It would be helpful to have an auto shutoff, but the large, well-placed, power button makes for an easy reminder that the pot is still on -- so long as you are in the kitchen! The inclusion of a Brita filter is probably a good idea, but I am not sufficiently informed as to the quality of my city water to know if I need this. All in all I found this to be an excellent product.
