Others say...
"Perfect for small jobs" I love Le Creuset enameled cast-iron cooking equipment. It works wonderfully and clean-up is pretty quick. I've had this piece for a month and have used it 4 times already. The "precision pour" lip lives up to its name as I could pour a thick sauce into a serving dish easily without making a mess. I purchased it during a promotional sale and it was a steal considering how useful it's been to me already. "Perfect size pan" This little sauce pan not only looks beautiful but comes in very handy. It is nice enough to display and small enough that it doesn't take up a lot of space. The heat retention is nice and dishes such as veggies can sit on the stove and keep warm after the heat has been turned off to prevent over cooking. Heating up sauces is a breeze and the percision pour feature eliminates food from spilling down the side of the pan. "Another Great Value" Here's another great piece of cookware from Le Creuset. I love the size for a small pan, and the fact it has a steam vent in the lid. The Caribbean color is really pretty. I mix and match my Le Creuset colors. I also own a round French Oven in Flame , and a small soup pot in the Chestnut color. All look great together for a cool retro look. Amazon has the best prices, really unbeatable. You won't be sorry with paying more for this cookware. "Sent back" I love LeCreuset, and was excited to see the price on this little gem. However, the first one I ordered was severely scratched. I returned it, and the second one I received had the handle mounted sideways!! I don't know if there was a load of seconds, but I will wait awhile before ordering anymore. "Good product" I am trying to use cookware that is healthier. In my research I found that enamel cookware is highly recommended for being non reactive. They also recommend buying from a reputable brand. So what better brand than Le Creuset. This is a small pan, which I wanted to use for reheating small quantities of soup or stew and/or cooking small amounts. So this is a great size. Also this size is hard to find in any store. But Amazon carries it. The red is beautiful. Take into consideration that being cast iron is very heavy, even for a small pan like this. I am being inclined now to buy the enamel on stainless steel, since it is much lighter in weight.

Le Creuset Precision Pour Saucepan with Cover
What our customer's say! "great all purpose pan", Great for a variety of tasks, but especially for heating and pouring soup. Use this pan to replace a Le Creuset pan I bought in 1967, which was still going strong, but which I managed to fatally damage due to "operator error". "Severely Biased", That's right, I am a severely biased reviewer of this product because I have been using Le Creuset for a couple years and have absolutely nothing negative to say about any piece. Not only do they clean up great but they add color to your kitchen. I have four pieces and all four are different colors. It is almost impossible to burn anything in this cookware. As my anodized aluminum wears out I have been replacing them with Le Creuset, probably the best cookware on the planet, well worth the money. "Great Product", Le Creuset is fabulous. The product is even better with the newer handle style. My other Le Creuset products have been in use for 30 years. I suspect this one will last as long. "AWESOME/VERY PLEASED", THIS WAS MY THIRD PIECE OF LE CREUSET AND I HAVE TO SAY, I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PRODUCT. I USE IT FOR EVERYTHING, HEAT UP GRAVY FOR MASHED POTATOES, VEGETABLES, OATMEAL, ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING! I WILL SAY IT DOES TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO HEAT UP IN THE BEGINNING, BUT ONCE IT GETS STARTED IT IS GREAT. CLEAN UP WAS A BREEZE, ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. LITTLE HEAVY, BUT YOU GET USED TO IT. BEAUTIFUL LOOKING, BOUGHT IT IN THE FLAME COLOR - LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. IF YOU WANT TO INVEST IN PREMIUM COOKWARE, GO FOR IT. WELL WORTH IT! TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM TEFLON BECAUSE OF HEALTH REASONS AND I THINK THIS IS SUPERIOR CHOICE, AND YOU WILL HAVE A LIFETIME OF USE AND THEN SOME. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS COOKWARE, ONLY WISH I BOUGHT IT SOONER!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!! "Fanstatic Little Pan", I received this as part of a set from my husband, who knew I'd been drooling over the Le Creuset lineup for years now. I was initially concerned that with the usable space at roughly 5 1/2" wide by 4" deep, it might be too small to be really useful but was quickly proven wrong - it's perfect for heating up a serving of soup or milk for hot chocolate. The lid fits snugly and the steam vent does what it's supposed to, no dripping water everywhere. Cleans up easily with soap and water, the handles are sturdy and stay cool, and the dual pour spouts are genius. Overall, this is a fantastic piece that should last approximately forever...I couldn't be more pleased. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Perfect size for more things than I expected", I have loved my much larger Le Creuset dutch oven for years and it is still my most used kitchen item besides my chef's knife. I had this smaller Le Creset saucepan for at least 2 years and rarely used it as I was cooking for more people. Now that I am typically cooking for 1 or 2 people, it is now very much used. If I am cooking rice for 1 or 2, or red sauce for 1 or 2, etc... it is perfect. "Oft used piece", This is a great little pot for oatmeal, porridge, grits, rice and other slow cooking grains. It gets used often for the above uses as well as heating sauces, gently warming cream-based soups, etc. It cleans extremely easily and is not too heavy (5# with lid). "love this pan !!!", This pan is just perfect to making my sons daily oatmeal and for sauces and other "small" tasks. It is well designed and very easy to handle and clean. Love it !!! "Great little pan", For making oatmeal and heating up soup, nothing beats this pan. It's very heavy, heats fast and holds the warmth. You are less likely to burn contents in this pan; also, the vent hole in the lid helps prevent contents, when heated while covered, from boiling over. The manufacturer recommends drying it after washing, rather than allowing it to drip dry, so it won't rust (the rims of the pan and around the bottom of the lid are not enameled). It cleans up easily (I wash it by hand). Very useful addition to my kitchen equipment and it looks great, too. "Le Creuset Saucepan", Awesome product. Another piece in my line of Le Ceuset - the best for coooking. ![]() |
