"Misting fan"
Works very well in the Texas heat. It does make everything around it wet but that is not a bad thing.

"Great for Ooutdoors!"
This is a great outdoor fan and it really does mae those hot summer days more tolerable. However, unless you plan on getting wet, make sure you keep it far enough so that you and your guests don't get misted.

"Windchill misting fan"
I am very pleased with this purchase. The delivery was prompt and the fan is great.

"WindChaser Fan"
We live in Florida and to enjoy our back porch in the summer, this was the perfect answer. I highly recommend it.

"shaky"
To expensive for an outdoor fan. Built so fragile, small wind will blow it over. I can't imagine any good and safe use for it. Its best location is in the trash or the attic stored for your estate sale. Simply junk

What our customer's say!

"WindChaser Outdoor Misting Fan", I was hesitant to order because it was through a outside seller, but it turned out just fine. The order was shipped the same day and the seller sent email updates all along the way. The fan arrived when promised; I'm very pleased.

"a must have if you live in the desert", My husband loves to BBQ but living in Vegas means you have to endure temperatures well in excess of 100 degrees for all of the summer and much of the spring and fall... but not if you own the WindChaser misting fan. The fan was easy to assemble and works like a charm. You can use it with or without hooking it up to the water hose. When it is hooked up to the garden hose, it is easy to adjust the misting spray and it cools a wide area since the fan circulates.

"Poor customer service", My children ordered me a fan for Father's Day for use at our lake home. We put it together in July and the fan did not oscillate. At the children's insistance I later emailed the seller. They basically said it's not our problem, call the manufacter. My children ordered me a new one from a different seller and it works fine. However they paid for two to get one that works.. I hope it holds up. I won't order anything from Ace Photo again.

"Summer Breeze", Loved this product, made my summer cool and refreshing, with or without the mist. Highly recommended.

"WindChaser Misting Fan Review", The fan was easy to assemble. It works as desired, though as expected, the tiny water sprayer bits tend to calcify in our hard water. Since the parts are plastic, there is no "metal rattle" common in some metal fans. The fan head rotates from side to side or can be set to hold in a stationary position.

The fan and misting feature provides an excellent source of cooling air mist on a hot summer day (100 degrees plus). Running the misting fan in the garden or on the patio lowers the temperature in the surrounding area significantly. It's easy to turn on the water too hard and end up soaking both guests and furniture - just the tiniest bit of water pressure provides the desired mist and cooled air.

Though not particularly heavy, the fan is awkward to pick up and move. I suggest putting the fan on a wheeled garden pot holder (make sure it's large and sturdy to prevent tipping over).

We've tried various methods for cleaning the misting heads - if you use an oil based lubricant (WD40?), be sure the head is rinsed completely clean to prevent misting your guests with tiny oily bits.

"Lifesaver", I was amazed at how much the WindChaser Outdoor Misting Fans really cooled our concrete/slate patio. This product definitely lives up to it's promise. Everyone that has experienced the Louisiana heat at our home has been just as amazed at how much cooler we were with the fans.

"Very good product for the price", I do not have any complaint so far. I hope to enjoy it all summer long.

"Misting fan for outdoors.", This is a good fan, can be used indoors or out. However, the misting feature can leave you "all wet", as it dispenses a lot of mist. The electrical cord is short, so it limits fan placement; I found myself relocating the fan to try to find the ideal mist. I also had to add an outdoor extension cord to locate the fan far enough from outdoor furniture. It doesn't give the barely perceptable result you would find at a tropical tiki bar.

"Motor on fan does not work", The fan motor did not work. I am currently trying to find out how to return item.

"Refreshing on a hot day", I originally bought this misting fan a few years ago when I was having surgery in July and knew I wouldn't be able to go in our pool for a while. I wasn't looking forward to sitting outside sweltering watching everyone else swim, so I could at least sit in the mist and keep cool. Worked like charm.

Last summer hired a contractor to do some outdoor projects and I set this fan up for them, as it was an extended heat spell. The guys loved it.

How wet you get when sitting in front of it depends on how close you sit and how high you have the fan set for. It can vary from barely noticeable to pretty wet. I would advise not setting it up right next to a table with paper products on it. They will get soaked as time goes by.
