"LOVE it, best vacuum i've owned", i wanted the least expensive, most powerful HEPA filtered bag-using canister vaccuum i could find (i don't like bagless or uprights). i ordered this one from J&R and a few additional attachments plus some bags direclty from eureka. i bought it for the price, the power on the vaccuum, and the price of bags and replacement HEPA filters not being too onerous - for some vaccuums the HEPA replacements were ridiculously expensive.

i have been extremely please with the performance of this little vaccuum. it is VERY powerful; even when the bag is full it picks up very well. with the HEPA filter in place, the blow-out port in the back is covered so it does not disturb anything (such as papers) behind my path. it is reasonably light, easy to carry and set up. i use it on mostly hardwood floors, picking up cat hair, all our fabric upholstery, and some carpet - it does a bang-up job on everything. i also use it for dusting and sucking up kitty litter around the utility closet. i've had it now for over six months and would not trade it for any vaccuum i've owned before. it is a GREAT value and i would highly recommend it to anyone.

the only downside i would say is there is nowhere convenient to stow the attachments, and the power cord is not retractable. i would have really liked both these features. however, neither one is such a problem that they outweigh the benefits of power, ease of changing the bag (another great feature - the bags are extremely easy to swap out and have a flap so you can close them off before throw them out - no messy dust spillage), cost of components, easy of storage, weight, versatility - if i'm not being perfectly clear - i love this vaccuum! i just hope it's durable because i don't think it's made anymore and i don't ever want to replace it!
