"The littliest titan" This little heater is just the ticket. Small, nearly silent & works like a dream. The best feature is the ambient temp regulator. It will cycle on & off to keep you toasty based on the temp of the room. Dial it low to warm up just a few degrees if your area is not that cold or crank it up high if your space is freezer frigid like my office. Set at the max and it stays on & really does a bang up job of heating up the place. Not sure I would buy to heat larger rooms but it would be great for a small mud room or that spot in the basement where you like to curl up with a book. I keep mine under my desk at work & the small size is fabulous. Stays out of the way and only I know it's running, it's that quiet. I like the fan only option as well. Our climate control at the office is pretty much a joke during the spring when the weather goes from cold to warm. The fan will absolutely be a mood saver for me then. If it's going to be hot, I need the air moving at least a bit. I would highly recommend this item. Lots of bang for the buck & it does what it says it will do. Hard to say that about alot of products these days. Big thumbs up to the folks at DeLonghi for a great little item that saved me from showing up at work in Mukluks & a parka. "small heater" I work night shift and the area is work at gets quite chilly at night. one of my co-workers had this heater and let me borrow it. I was so impressed on how well it worked and warmed up the area I work in that I came home and got on-line and ordered one. One of my other co-workers were so impressed with it that she ordered one also. This heater needs no start up time to start producing warm air. I love the feature that if it tips over or it something gets in the the way of the air flow that it automatically shuts off. This heater is a great deal for the price. I am going to order another one for my daughters dorm room. "Fan for office" I bought this as a space heater for under my desk at the office. It works well. The heat comes on every few minutes as there is a temperature adjustment. "Good heater" This is a great heater. It cuts on and off to regulate the temperature and does not give off that burning smell that some do. The fan portion is a little weak put is good for a small room or office. Overall, I think this product is worth every penny. "I love my little heater" I keep the heater on my desk and it works great. It puts out enough heat for me to feel cozy at work. I don't think it would be so great in a large area, but for what I need/want it for, it's perfect. My old heater started making a scary noise and I junked it. When I first got this DeLonghi heater, I was a little disappointed because the heat wasn't as strong as my old heater. But, then I remembered I would have to move the old heater away from me frequently because it would start cooking me! So, throughout the day, I would have to move the old one towards me and away from me, towards me and then later away from me. The DeLonghi heater gives me a nice, steady comfortable warmth the whole time I have it on. I've had it for 3 months and use it for several hours 5X a week, and I'm very happy with it.

DeLonghi DFH132 SafeHeat Fan Heater
Why I buy this one ? - Portable fan/heater - Adjustable thermostat; extra-quiet operation - PTC ceramic thermal cut-off automatically shuts unit off - Dual heat-flow setting regulates warm air output; fan without heat option - Anti-freeze setting for minimal heat temperature It's better to buy this one too...
Special offer for you..find the cheapest! What our customer's say! "fan heater", A wonderful little heater, just the right temperture you need to keep warmDeLonghi DFH132 SafeHeat Fan Heater "So quiet and Perfect!", In summer, I freeze at work due to excessive Air conditioning and in winter due to lack of required heating. I desperately needed something to make me feel warm. I read reviews on Amazon and decided to go with this one. I love this heater, it is small and very effective. Its unbelievably quiet and perfect for office use. "Warm, VERY quiet, warming my feet in cold office (in August!)", I could work in the middle of the burning hot desert, and I would have an air conditioner vent set on "Arctic Winter" over desk. Where I work, I have three of them, one more breezy-freezy than the rest, so I asked about space heater policies. Thankfully we did not have one, and I set out to find a small under-the-desk size heater. This seemed to fit the bill with variable usage (750 & 1500 watts) and a thermostat-like setting. I was hoping for a discrete black one that would kind of disappear under my desk, but for the price, features, and good reviews I picked this one. It is compact and easy to figure out--plug in, roll the function setting to 1 (750 watts) or 2 (1500 watts) and roll the right thermostat setting to whatever suits you. The "thermostat" setting is on the...ummm... vague side. It doesn't have any temperature degree settings just a few numbers, a star (asterisk), and a fan icon. The asterisk is for "turn on if it is below freezing to keep it just above freezing", and the fan icon is for fan with no heat. Despite my cubicle thermometer saying it's 75*F and 45% humidity, I have this baby set to 5, and it is warming my feet and legs nicely. Just enough to take the dry chill off. I noticed, like others mentioned too, that you can't tell if it is off or on since the big red dot light seems to always stay lit. And it is SO quiet, if not for the warm puff of air toasting my toes, you would not know it was on (except for the light). Even turning it to the dot (below the 1 for 750 watts) and rolling the other to the asterisk (keep above freezing), the light stays on...it's not blowing anything, but it's poised to blow heat when needed. For this reason AND for extra safety, I have this plugged into a surge protector/power strip on my desk--this is what I turn off every evening so any auxilliary items get their power cut when I leave. I would be concerned seeing this light on all the time under someone's desk--is it on? wasting electricity? going to burn the office down one of these days? So far it seems to be keeping the chill off of me, has a small footprint for under the desk, and is particularly quiet. I'll post any updates if needed. "Good while it lasted", This little space heater was good while it lasted. It warmed up my little bathroom in the spring. It wasn't hot to the touch so it lived up to it's name: SafeHeat. However, the thing died after a mere 5 months. I tried unplugging it for a day and switching it on again but it refuses to work at all. While the product wasn't crazy expensive, it's still a waste of $15. It's not worth the cost of shipping it back. I will not buy this product again. "nice little heater", I agree this can be hard to tell what the setting is and it kicks off very quickly at times. It is effective, though, and I just have to turn up the setting to keep it running. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Great office warmer...", Perfect to take the chill off a never quite warm enough office. This unit is quiet, small and does the job. Can't beat the price either. Only cons are temp & fan adjustments aren't strikingly obvious, and the light stays on even when unit is off. "Great Product", I bought this heater for myself 4 years ago. Works great. My Husband needed one for his job, I searched the internet to find the exact heater I had. Very pleased. "Great deal for small price", I've been using this all winter/spring as my office area is always cold. It warms up beautifully and it's easy to just turn the knob up or down to adjust. Very simple and practical. Love this heater and the price to match! If you're looking for something in an office or just underneath your desk, this is PERFECT "compact and efficient, work well for chilly office", I bought this small heater for heating the office area which is very chilly with air-conditioning. It works very well with 5 options for temperature control and 2 options for fan control. It is small. I just simply place it underneath my desk and turn it on during the day. It is worthy at its price. "Very silent heater", I like this heater because it is very silent. But the inconvenience is that it can not warm my room enough. I think this heater is not enough to warm up my big room. ![]() |
