Others say...
"Can't go back to a corded iron ever" I like this iron. It gets hot enough and steams plenty. I keep a gallon of distilled water right beside my ironing board to refill the iron. "Liked enough to buy two" Once you iron without a cord you'll never go back. This product does the job daily for our family. Well worth the money. "Cordless Iron" Panasonic NI-L45NR Cordless Iron I ordered this product for my wife. She really likes the fact that she doesn't have to deal with the cord while ironing. Even though the iron doesn't hold heat for a terribly long time, it is back up to temperature by the time the garment is in position to finish up. The retractable cord for the base is very handy. She has used it for about six months, and so far it has performed flawlessly. "cordless iron" Not having the cord in the way is great...BUT...Don't forget to set the buttons, or you'll have to wait until it is hot enough...and use it as soon as it is at your setting, or you'll have to reset it again and wait; The worst part about it is, it doesn't remain hot enough to finish one dress shirt! You have to keep putting it back on the base and resetting it and wait for it to get to the correct temp. with each article of clothing. I'd never buy another one of these. "Best cordless iron on the market" I don't enjoy ironing but I love this cordless iron. It heats up quickly, it emits powerful steam, and it's portable (has a neat carrying case). It actually makes ironing less of a chore!

What our customer's say! "Finally, ironing is fun again... or bearable, at least!", Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3UVZZ1TF36PPG Watch a demonstrative description of this iron's awesome features! "Best Iron I've Ever Had!", I've never had a cordless iron, but now will never use anything else. This iron has made ironing so easy! I sew a lot, and it's such a pleasure to be able to take the iron to my table where I can iron directly on any fabric that just needs a touch-up after spreading it out. It stays hot and is excellent at getting wrinkles out. I only wish I'd bought it sooner! "Great Product; Poor Shipping Practices", Ordered this product for my grandmother as I had already purchased one a few years ago locally. The product delivered was not as pictured. I expected the purple tank but rec'd green. Wouldn't have been so bad but the first shipment the base was damaged and so was the second shipment. Finally, not due to an improvement in their shipping practice, only by mere chance the third iron was not damaged. "Very Nice But Pricy", After decades of 'discount' corded irons and a year's weekly use of this unit for Slacks, DressShirts, etc, I'm quite pleased and really appreciate the freedom of no iron cord getting in the way. I'm constantly pausing to rearrange the cloth and by always recradling the iron at those times it keeps fully charged at its highest ["cotton"] setting, with very few exceptions. If we had a 'Dedicated Laundry Area' I'd have probably created years ago a springy heavy overhead wire contraption to keep a cord out of the way. But in our apartment we just open the Ironing Board wherever, plopping the Recharge Base down on nearby furniture. Still, I don't know how well it would work on big heavy items, say curtains or a Damask Tablecloth - we use a 'full-service Laundromat' for such items. And all bets would be off if the thing doesn't still work 2 or 3 years from now. NB: I now note that the current price is only a small discount from "List", while I paid, a year ago, $20 off the same 'List Price'. This means that final cost is now 40% higher than what I paid & for that amount I'd be a lot more demanding re performance if, indeed, I'd have committed in the first place. jfr "WOW", Better than expected. No cord to get in the way. Keeps hot by placing iron back in base. Carry case is a nice feature. Hated always working around the cord, this makes ironing almost fun. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Free of the cord", I absolutely love this iron, this thing produces more steam than my corded one. One of the best things i ever purchased, glad i took the plunge. I will always purchase cordless from now on. "Panasonic NI-L45 Cordless Iron", I have never purchased a cordless Iron before and don't do much ironing anymore, but when my iron stopped heating after a mere 4 years, I did have to buy a new one. It takes re-training to put the iron in the exact slot after ironing along a shirt front, collar, etc. However, I like the freedom of no cord to hold you back. The iron does stay hot. It is light in weight. It was less expensive than my previous high-end one. The down-side besides the re-training of old habits? I have an ironing board and iron holder on the back of the closet door. This iron comes in its own case which I now locate on a shelf...the ironing board is still on the door. "SO FAR SO GOOD", I have only had my iron a short time but I love it. Not having a cord is wonderful. "Incredible Iron", This was my first iron in many years. I did the research and found this iron to be rated very high by users. After using it myself, I can understand why. It's easy to use and operate and it stores in its own carrying case. Being a guy who has never done much ironing, I found this iron to be amazingly easy to use. It has digital settings (only 3) for heat control. The water tank comes out for easy refilling. The cord pulls out and retracts into its chamber so it stays out of the way. The iron is cordless so no worries about getting tangled in the power cord and being cordless makes it so much easier to iron. The iron is lightweight and the size is a nice medium size- not too big, not too small for any ironing job. The steam is powerful and took care of all wrinkles. And, it only took a few minutes to heat and be ready to do its job. And it stores itself in its own carrying case- which is compact and easy to store away when the job is done. Being cordless does not mean that there is a battery in the iron to recharge to keep it hot while ironing. How it works: You plug in the base (where the iron rests for storage and during non-ironing) while the iron rests on the base and this initially heats the iron. Then, in between ironing (while moving the shirt around on the ironing board) it quickly re-heats it and keeps it hot. There have been several times where I ironed for 1 hour or more and the iron stayed plenty hot. And, you must return it to its base to re-heat even if for a few seconds when you move clothes around. Whether you're ironing for 5 mins or 5 hours, this is a sweet iron. "Great Iron", I love not having the cord get in the way. I have never had this iron spit or be a problem in any way, I also like having the auto shut off as I have left an iron on more times than I can count. ![]() |
