"A few problems; still useful"
The first one got smashed in shipping, and a second one was shipped. I have used it for a few months so far, 5 shirts a week. Press does not get hot enough to make steam reliably except on hottest "linen" setting, so I use the spray bottle. Under the cloth cover, an aluminum coating on the board wore off on the edges and brown stuff from the board oozed through the cloth cover onto my clothes, which was fixed by putting aluminum foil on the board. The hinge at the back pinches fabric and has put holes in two of my shirts. There is no marked temperature setting for "polyester". Still worthwhile to use; Next I will get a bigger one.

"Not pleased"
I had to return this Table Top Steam Press. I thought it much bigger than it really was. The Prss worked just fine, it was too small for what I wanted it for...Thanks...Bob

NOT EVEN A MONTH WORKED. IT DOESN'T WORK ANY MORE, I TALKED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY WANT ME TO SEND IT TO THEM AND THEN THEY ARE GOING TO REPAIR IT AND SEND IT BACK. I'M NOT SATISFY WITH THIS PRODUCT..... I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE I NEED IT.... AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING AND WAIT FOR IT.

"Not that great"
Purchased item to make ironing faster and easier and it didn't. Maybe a bigger surface might work better.

"Perfect for fusible interfacings"
After mixed results with regular irons, I find that this steam press get it done right, no bubbles. Nearly all the sewing patterns I use call for some form of fusible and there's nothing more frustrating than trying to do a large surface with a regular iron. Sort of like washing an elephant with a hand towel.

Now, if you sew a great deal as I do, you will find many uses for this press. Be warned it is heavy so if you don't have surface that is large enough to support it, buy the stand that is made for it. As far as being able to do draperies, yes it's possible, but the surface is on the small side for an items like that. Like washing that elephant I mentioned. That being said, I am very pleased with its performance and it does fine job on ready made pants as well. I recommend it.
