What our customer's say!

"So far so good", It's one of life's little mysteries. With all of our advanced technology and engineering capabilities; why can't someone make a decent blender? Can it really be that difficult? What truly shocks me is that the blender I bought 20+ years ago to see me through college still works, yet every new blender I buy to replace it fails within moments of use. Thank God that I've held on to my old standard as a backup, Sure only one out of 20 some odd speeds still works, but the fundamentals are still there and it makes a great margarita (come on - I did buy this for college after all!).

We've tried a Waring - the motor smoked on the second use. We bought an Ultrex and it has a great motor but the blade assembly continually freezes up and needs to be replaced. We've read all the reviews on all the other blenders on Amazon and it is apparent that the entire selection offered by every manufacturer is sub-standard at best. We bought the Euro-Pro based upon it's unique design and I am happy to report that it works remarkably well for it's price/feature set.

It makes a great margaritas (some things never change!) and it does a decent job busting up the ice into consistent, minute sized particles. If it can do this, than a smoothy would be no problem at all. We've used the food processor for various tasks and it also works remarkably well. It has a great little blender/beater bar that is great fun to watch (very cool!) and it creamed butter quite nicely. The tools and accessories are nicely stowed away, which is a tribute to the careful design that went into the final product. The motor is strong and both blender and processor make the most of what it has to offer. The only downside is that the makers assume that you know all about a food processor - if you're a novice, then you'll need to either experiment or get advice on what all the tools are and how to use them.

Pros:
Compact design
Nice & slick storage
Plenty of power
Decent at crushing ice

Cons:
No recipe book
No explanation on how all the tools & attachments are to be used
Could have a wider speed selection - 1 through 8 are really close, turbo is a quantum leap from the others

Bottom line is that we're very happy with this unit. We'll hold onto "ol' faithful" for awhile yet, just to make sure that we're in the clear, but so far so good - which is a lot more than I can say for the past few blenders we've tried. The five starts are relative to the others we've tried and compared. It could be better, but the rest are very sub-par.

If anything ever changes, we'll update our review.

"I love the processor/blender but...", I wish the processor came with a recipe book. I have many uses for the appliance, but would have many more if it came with some recipes or even usage tips to go with the juicer, processor, and blender. There is absolutely nothing to go on except for some recommended chopping speeds in the user manual. I couldn't even find anything on the web! Other than that, I love the various speeds and blades. Also, cleanup seems to be easy so far (except the juicer - grapes get messy). Carrots seemed to stain the shredding blade holder (it's white), but the orange stains faded within hours and it looks as good as new. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a multi-tasker.
