"Fed Up With MEMOREX!" I've used Memorex & Sony CD-R's for many years to store & archive my photographs. Memorex has been a thorn in my side. Initially, the CD-R's accept the files without a glitch, as reviewing the burning process to make sure everything went well is common practice of mine. However, within a couple months, it never fails, there is at least a handful of Memorex CD-R's that become unreadable, and I end up losing between 50 to 168 images. I've read numerous articles on why this happens. Some believe it's my burner, while some think it's my software, and others say it's even the images that are defective. Please!!! My burner & software are working perfectly...never having a problem with Sony discs (or even the Meijer brand Imation). I will NEVER buy another Memorex product again. They're CD-R's are unreliable, and not worth the frustration and aggravation of losing any more of my valuable work, and memories. "good" I used 10 of them, and they all works well! I'm glad to get 50 CDs in such a good price and they can burn well! "Memorex CD-R Discs" Very nice price and free shipping for 2 or more.No problem with these discs. Used to buy Memorex cassette tapes a while back and got used to Memorex products. "Stay away from Memorex" I've wasted way too much money buying memorex Cd-r....they just don't record in either of my computers. What a waste! "Good deal on these CD-R's" I have used these for several years and have not had any problems. There does not seem to be any errors and they seem to hold up well. What more could you ask for? Also good price on these.

Now that CD's can be made rather easily, its easy to buy very cheap ones from discount stores all over the internet. But Amazon has a great price on CD's from a respected brand. I have bought no-name CD's before and have had problems when burning them, but rarely run into that problem with Memorex. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Very good for the price!", In my opinion there is not much big difference between the makers. Whoever is cheapest has always been fine for me. I make copies all the time because I always lose or destroy my CDs. Have a good day. "wrong product", The item is fine but was advertised along with a recording device that turned out not to be compatible with this product. Watch out! "Perfect For Burning", I ordered these CD's to use with my CD burner on my computer and I love them. They are thicker than the bargain CD's and they don't scratch as easy. They're perfect! "Solid choice for CD-R's", I went through a 50 pack of these without the annoying "fall-out" of bad discs. I haven't seen any long term problems with them either. Reliable choice at a good price. "very good", very good, it's the cheapest CDR I have ever seen. just because it's sold by private seller. It can't be delievered by SuperSaving. |
