"Easy Space-Saver"
I just recently moved into a very small house (no garage) and have just recently taken up cycling (in addition to bicycle-commuting to work everyday). As such, I needed a place to safely put both bikes (one 15-year-old mountain bike, one glorious new women's road bike) in a small space. I think this bike stand is fabulous. It took me all of 15 minutes to assemble, no tools needed at all (contrary to some other reviews). Since I have solid block walls in my little rental home, I declined bolting the top of the vertical to the wall, and have had no stability issues with either one or two bikes mounted in any configuration. I generally put the road bike on top since I can't quite lift the mountain bike ... The arms are easily-adjustable (again, requiring no tools) and independently adjustable. The vinyl coating on the arms is great for the bike that's too pretty to scuff, but doesn't seem prone to wear-and-tear like a foam piece might be. It takes up very little space in my very little bedroom, and will be quite easy to pack-up and transport elsewhere. Great product.

"bike rack"
I am very pleased with the bike rack. It takes up unused space in the corner and is easy to set up. And, it is portable if I want to move it.

"works fine for men's bikes, good price"
works, good price, easy assembly. you definetely need to screw the top part to the wall or it will tip over(not free standing). Some Women bikes might not work.

"2 bmx bikes, free stands. no wall needed"
Unlike some reviews, my bike rack really does free stand. i don't have to lean it against a wall.

My setup: Hardwood floors, 1 old school GT mach one bmx, and 1 ARES DITA flatland bmx bike. Both are on the rack pointing the same direction simply because if I set them in opposite directions, the wheel from the top bike, will rub against the bottom bike's handlebars.

This looks WAY better than have my bikes just lean against the wall. I give it only 4 stars because it still feels a bit flimsy. Since I'm from california, it will definitely fall down during an mild earthquake.

"Great price for basic stand"
I got this product at a great price. Similar products were twice as expensive. Free shipping, also.

What our customer's say!

"Be careful when you order.", Be careful when you place this order. Amazon and Target are now "partners" and when I ordered this product, the order apparently goes straight to the Target website for processing. Not only do you NOT get the free shipping as indicated by Amazon, you get billed for taxes. The order is prcessed and the money is taken way before you are aware of this, therefore too much time has elapsed to cancel the order. So, even tho the item is okay, don't get it from Target/Amazon.com Purchase it from a different Amazon vendor. Another added frustration it that the purchase order isn't even available on your Amazon account.

"Not Quite Freestanding", I received the order promptly as promised from Amazon. Assembly was quick and connects with four loosely fitting pieces plus the four twisting arm hangers. The stand leans due to construction of the frame pieces. However, I did not bolt to the wall, instead I wedged a small piece of rebar under the frontend of the base to keep the stand firmly against the wall. That way when ever I remove either bike the stand remains against the wall. It appears to do the job. Also, I wrapped the plastic arm hangers with pipe foam tubing so that the (brake and gear)cables running under the bike frame would not get smashed with the weight of the bike. Good deal for the price.

"Four Stars on the Basis of Price", It is called "Gravity" not only because it leans against the wall or because the bikes hang freely, but because all of its pieces just slide into one another. There are no screws holding the different sections making up the column together, nor for the "arms" which suspend the bikes. If your floor is not true then you realize the column will go up the wall crooked to one side or not be flush against the wall. Even on a relatively true floor the topmost segment of the column leans out forward from the wall leaving a good three inch gap between column and wall at the very top in my situation. The one, supplied screw for the wall is to address this and also to make sure the column can't be tipped over, but you should know there will be a goodly amount of force on that screw by the uppermost bike's weighing the top segment out from the wall as described. Nevertheless, the rack's individual pieces are sturdy, and it's inexpensive and fulfills its function with the caveats noted.

"Quick setup, good support", No issues...unpacked and setup in 10 mins. Did screw into a stud for additional support but only as an extra precuation but don't really think it is mandatory at least for the size/weight bikes I have and the location (against my garage wall). One adult mountain bike (top) and one girl's 16" bike (bottom) are on it with no problems.

"Solid, stylish, and simple bike stand.", We use this bike stand in a rather narrow entryway so that we can have our two bikes at the ready while not taking up too much floor space. This bike stand works perfectly for us to hold two bikes. Like others have said, if you have small children around, I'd recommend anchoring it against the wall as although it is quite sturdy, it could be pushed or pulled over without too much trouble.

Overall, certainly one of the best bike stands for the money.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Works as advertised", This bike stand is easy to set up -- you don't even need a screwdriver. It just all fits together nicely. They provide hardware to secure the top if you're worried about it falling over (although it seems pretty stable even without it). It's nicely finished, and provides a great way to store two bikes in a very limited space. As my review title says, it just does exactly what it's supposed to do.

"Does the job it says it does...", The bike rack works just like it says it does. However you will notice that the pictures are always of 2 men's bicycles. This is because it is more difficulte to get a woman's bicycle, let alone 2 of them, on and off the rack. Also, once you set the arms into the post, it is a pain to get them back out, so I would recomend having a friend put the arms in while you hold the bike at the level you want it at. Also start with the bottom bike or put the top arm at the very top part of the post to allow yourself the most room to get the bottom bike on and off.

"Does what it is supposed to do.", This bicycle rack is pretty good for what I want. I would recommend this item to someone who has two bikes and little room in their garage.

"Disappointing", Received the package with holes in it. One minor part, a plastic end-cap, was missing. I put the stand together per the instructions and it would not stand upright. There was a manufactory flaw. I exchanged the stand for a new one and it was flawed as well. The stand was crooked. I returned the second one for a refund. Very disappointing. This product shouldn't even be sold.

"JUST AS DESCRIBED", EZ to assemble, arrived earlier than expected. No blemishes, heavy duty, easily handles two bikes.
