"Great Service" I am very happy with this product and the service that I received. Will order again. Thanks. "It shrinks!!!" I've had this mixer cover for a few years, and use it to cover my tilt-head 5-quart Artisan mixer (as pretty as the mixer is, my house gets dusty with boys running around). It had a generous fit until I washed it. Now it's wrinkled and barely fits over the mixer! I am not amused. However, even before then, it fit weirdly because it's not the same shape as the mixer, and the handle on the bowl makes it stick out oddly on one side. Before it shrank, though, that wasn't a big deal and looked pretty much like it does in the product photo, but now it looks deformed on my counter! Also, the pocket for the attachments does not fit the whip without gaping open (never did), which is both unattractive and a good way to get the whip dusty, which defeats the purpose. I have to leave the whip in the bowl or stored away and only put the flat paddle in the pocket. It would be nice if the pocket had a fold-over flap or snap to keep it covered or closed. I'll have to look for one of the cheaper alternatives for a replacement... "Serves the purpose & looks nice" This cover is worth the few bucks its costing to own. The attachments I use most frequently stay in the bowl & stay clean & dust free till the next time I use the mixer. Plenty of room & I think the cover makes for a nice finished look. "Wonderful product!" I love this mixer cover. It fits my KA perfectly and the large pocket is so handy for storing recipe booklets and other recipes printed from [...]. I highly recommend it! "Fits great!" We have a large Kitchen Aid mixer. I was worried that the cover would be too small. Appears well made and fits great.

Read this reviews before You buy... "Excellent product", This mixer cover is perfect for the Artisan series of Kitchen Aid mixers which stands 14 1/2" high and 12 1/2" long. It fits nicely and conceals everything including the base. Also its taupe color matches the stone tile backsplash on our kitchen wall. "kitchen aid cover", The cover keeps the dust out of the mixer and has a great pocket on the side for the paddle or small cookbook. It makes the cabinet look tidier without the chaos of the mixing attachments. "One size fits all?", This is a sturdy, well made mixer cover; especially compared to the plastic/vinyl type. It does exactly what is was designed to do...keep the dust and dirt off the mixer and protect it from minor bumps and scrapes. Clearly, in the world of stand mixers, one size does not fit all. Well, not perfectly, at least. I have a 5-quart lift-bowl mixer and, while the overall fit is very good, there is a one-inch gap between the bottom and counter. I agree with other reviews that the cover makes the mixer look even larger! But you get over that the same way you get over your first impression of what appears to be a gigantic, industrial machine on your counter when you first set up the mixer! I would have given this 5 stars, but I think it is a bit overpriced. "Covers nicely!", I bought this cover to go with my KitchenAid Artisan mixer, which is one of the smaller KitchenAid models. The cover is what you would expect, a padded, cloth bag that you stick over your mixer. It has a pouch on one side for holding accessories (the dough hook, etc.), except if you put something in there, it sags down a bit. I wish they made them in different sizes, although it could be more confusing to order, as the cover is much larger than my mixer really needs. If you are looking for a cover for your mixer, this is a good option, and one of the only options, actually! "KitchenAid Mixer Cover", We ordered this cover at the same time we ordered the Professional 600 stand mixer. Had to return the cover as it did not fit the mixer properly. It is an excellent cover for the smaller KitchenAid stand mixers, just doesn't work well with the 600. |
