"Must have" I gave this griddle to my husband who is a wonderful cook. He's had it for over a year now and loves it. It goes perfectly over the two stove burners, and you can use part of it to keep food warm, while you continue cooking on the other section. "Great grill/griddle" Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. She loves it! It seems to cook food very evenly and is fairly easy to clean (a little hard to fit in the sink, but everything comes off with a little soaking and a soft scrub sponge). I've noticed that the griddle side has dark marks from our gas burners, but I don't think it will affect the cooking or cleaning. More than anything, I'm happy because my wife's happy! "Grill me them burgers!" I enjoyed the griddle part of this...have made several breakfasts since purchasing this product however, the grill side..is another story.... I grilled some onions along with a few burgers a week after i purchased this item and maybe i didnt place enough oil or spray but the onions totally got stuck and burned...i left the grill unwashed over night and now its all clumped on...i need some Brillo pads...with these kind of products, one needs to wash them off right away or it's in the trashcan time. But overall I am content...so far. "Great grill for indoors" Super grill for inside. I live in NYC in an apartment without a balcony, so this was a great find. As long as you keep the heat down BELOW medium, it will last forever and grills anything you throw at it with ease. Have fun!! "Great product!!" After checking locally for this griddle and finding it close to $50, I looked online with Amazon. The same $50 griddle was on sale for $29.99. It is a great addition to my kitchen. What our customer's say! "Great Grilling", Best have a great exhaust fan if you want to do heavy grilling indoors. I have done boneless chicken, swordfish steak, shrimp, steak and pork chops and the result were wonderful. Switch to the other side for bacon, eggs and pancakes. Clean up is great too. I have seen some grill/griddles for double the cost. This has also given me a more healthy cooking style for my family using only a light cooking spray. "throwing mine in the garbage", I'm tired of spending so much time trying to clean it every time it's used. "There's nothing remotely "non-stick" about the grill side", My wife has made pancakes on the griddle side, no problem, but neither of us have been able to grill anything on the grill side without the food sticking, and I don't mean sticking a little, I mean welded-to-the-pan sticking. The grill side is unusable. Not recommended. "Grill works great!", I gave this grill to my wife on her birthday. It is great. We've used it a number of times with good results. Read this reviews before You buy... "Great sturdy grill pan!", I must have looked at over 50 different grill pans...online and in stores and i really wanted one that had diagonal grill lines and a flat grill pan (I didnt want a grill pan where it went up on the sides like griddles) all the flat grill pans i kept seeing were cast iron and i dont want to season it ever time i grilled on it so the food wouldnt stick. I saw this grill pan and read the good reviews but was still skeptic being that it was a low price. I tought i'd take a chance and i'm so happy i did! The grill is great, exspecially on gas ranges, the food doesnt stick at all and it gives great grill marks...not just that the food stays so juciy! I HIGHTY RECOMMND THIS GRILL. you will not regret it. "Great for indoor use.", I use this grill in my apartment, where I have a small (UGLY) range. I have it permanently covering the left side of my range, which works great for me. It's SO easy to clean. The nonstick coating is just as good, if not better than other commercial grill pans. It sets on top of my range like it was built to be there. Even when it is not in use it looks decorative. As for actually cooking with the grill, it is simple! A few squirts of cooking spray, set both burners to medium-high... you have a great, consistent grill pan. No excess smoke or grit.... it's amazing. "Ruined", I love this griddle. But after a few months something got burned and after pouring the water and trying to get the burned on layer off, the coating peeled in alot of places. I think it was partly my fault, so I am not going to bash this griddle. "Good Grill For the Money", This grill is very well made for the money, and a great option if you don't want the heavier cast iron models. Steaks and burgers cook very quickly and remain tender and juicy. The model also works well to defrost food. So far, I have only cooked using low heat and a little pam, but nothing stuck to the grill and it cleans easily. I'm very pleased with it. "Great Product, Great price", I am a chef, and I put this baby through its paces while we were camping a few weeks ago. I raged the grill heat beyond hot, melted the knobs on my stove. This griddle held up like a champ. Made pancakes the next day on the other side. Very little blemish from the severe heat I had put to it. Clean up on the grill side? Crank up the heat all the way, than splash water and rub with a steaming rag (with tongs!). A+ |
