"New? If so, someone didn't know where to drill the holes."
On first look over the product seemed fine, but then I noticed that there were extra holes drilled into the FRONT of the rear panel of the shelf. It appears that someone or a machine mis-drilled the holes for the hooks about half an inch off the correct target area. The holes had been carelessly stuffed with WHITE hole filler. How cheap. Anyway, the only reason why I haven't returned this item is because I hate dealing with the hassle of returns and it will be hidden in my closet so it doesn't matter. I don't know if all their shelves are mis-drilled like the one I received, but I don't recommend purchasing from this seller if you don't want to risk having to return the item.

I was disappointed in the product and returned it--twice. The finished shelf comes with what looks like prior attempts to place the hooks on the board, which makes for repaired holes and a rough finish. Perhaps this shelf with hooks would be fine for a garage or mountain cabin. It was not acceptable for my home.

"pretty nice"
It's nice, and the hooks are sturdy enough to hold a jacket. The shelf is not wide enough to hold much and things always fall off. Mine didn't come with cam locks, so the top shelf is not attached to the rest of the shelf, which causes some problems. Overall though, it's pretty functional.

"Nice Quality for the price"
This wall hook with shelf looks really nice on my wall. My front door opens into my living room and there is no closet for coats nearby. I hung this behind the door and put some cute nick nacks on the shelf. It looks very nice when the door is closed and is very sturdy for holding coats for guests and "always in a hurry" kids. I wish there was more space between the shelf and the top of the hook, but the bottom hook is big enough to hold the coats. The natural wood has a quality wood look for as inexpensive as it is. It was also easy to put together and hang.
