"Love it!!!"
I'm very satisfied with this item. The first time I made spaghetti in it, I drained from the side of the larger holes and a few escaped. The lid stays on securely when properly placed to start with and it's not so heavy that it is awkward to maneuver when draining the liquid.

"Time Saver"
This pan is a real time saver when cooking pasta or veggies. Instead of using a colander, the locking lid does the trick. It is really good quality for the price. And the size is excellent.

"Wonderful line of pans!"
I have owned these pans for over four years now. My family loves them. I own two of the locking colanders(3-Quart and 5-quart). You won't be disappointed!

"Great for pasta!"
I absolutely love this pan! It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and is a breeze to clean! I use it frequently to cook pasta, and find the colander lid extremely helpful. This is a great pan, and I would recommend it to anyone.

"No problems, great quality and design"
Has small and larger holes in lid, locks in place. Eliminates the need for separate strainer. Great quality non-stick finish, excellent size. I have had no issues with handles and my pot is like new after more than a year.

What our customer's say!

"Cooks kettle corn perfectly--everytime!", I purchased this wonderful chef's pan nearly two years ago. It came in handy for so many recipes, but I was blown away the first time I tried it with cooking popcorn. Cooks the fluffiest popcorn evenly--nearly every kernel, nearly every time. And, with my family of popcorn gourmets, I cook popcorn at least once a week. My delight was intensified when I discovered the Circulon 3-quart chef's pan even perfectly cooks kettle corn--no scorching with the sugary base. Now I'm ordering chef's pans as Christmas presents, complete with my recipes for gourmet popcorn.Circulon 2 3-Quart Covered Chef's Pan with Locking Colander

"Circulon 3 qt. chef's pan with locking lid", We have given 2 of the larger Circulon pans with locking lids as gifts. The people they were given to were very pleased with them, so we ordered a smaller one to give for Christmas to one of the people who already has the big one. Arrived promptly in good condition.

"Fabulous!", It's been only one month since purchasing the Circulon collection which included this Covered Pan with the Locking Colander. The Colander fits upon the lip and then locks. You have to aligne the top with the locking bolts on the Colander; Once aligned it fits on smoothly.......After leaving the burner on too high, and allowing the water to completly evaporate from the pan, my potatos still turned out great; And the pan cleaned up with just a dish cloth. No damage was done to the pan at all. This pan has also been through the dishwasher without any problems.....The Circulon pan with Locking Colander is an absolute godsend; it works great with potatos that have been left unattended (smile), spaghetti, ground meats (it's great for draining excess fat off)..... This pan is top rated, and highly recommended as is the other pots & pans in the Circulon collection.

God bless!

"Gread covered Circulon Chef's Pan", The lock-on cover really works great. A great addition of our existing set of Circulon cookware.

"Faulty Lids", My first order - the lid required excessive force to be secure on the pot - the second order wasn't much better. So, I give up and will switch brands.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"broken plastic handle", I love the pot. Had it for about 6 months. The plastic part of the lid handle has partly broken off. I thought it might have been my kids, but after reading the previous review, it seems it could be a design flaw. So I am holding off on bying a second one.

"FAULTY FAULTY LIDS...THREE OF THEM", After using my 3 new Circulon pots and lids for only 2 or 3 months, all the Circulon lids have broken plastic handles, including the lid for this 3 quart sauce pan.
First noticed the problem when I got gouged by the broken plastic, I saw that all three Circulon lids showed big chunks of plastic off the underside of the plastic handles. I am very careful and do not own a dishwasher.
Next, I saw that two of the faulty handles now had big chuncks off BOTH ends of the plastic handles. All the breakage occured where the plastic 'cool' handle attaches to the metal part of the handle. Just today, when I removed the hot lid from my Toss and Turn pan, the black plastic totally came loose from the metal part of the handle! Only fast dancing saved me from this big hot lid falling on my feet. But at last I saw the FLAW. Instead of these lids having a complete metal handle that is covered with the plastic for cool handling, the metal part only goes up an inch to meet the plastic. The black plastic only overlaps the metal part for A SCANT HALF INCH OR SO, causing the more sturdy metal part to undermine the plastic, and eventually causing the chipped plastic to separate from the metal with use. The lids are subjected to steam and heat on a daily basis, so no wonder the plastic broke off, the plastic has no backing. It is just carelessly and poorly attached to less than a half inch of the metal that is attached to the lid. This poorly conceived construction is why the handle broke away entirely after the plastic was chipped, A full metal handle covered with plastic would have been nice for the money spent and prevented the accident where the handle completely separated from the chipped plastic. There is no metal supporting that plastic folks.
My enthusiasm for the Circulon was originally quite high, but now that I have lidless pots after less than 90 days, I'm pretty unhappy! This chipping happened to 3 out of 3 lids! AND the Toss and Turn lid is almost as expensive as the Toss and Turn pan! Now, after less than 90 days I must send in the Toss and Turn lid and my 2 smaller lids with chipped handles that go with the sauce pans. Because the Toss and Turn handle separated and broke away, this is not merely a cosmetic matter. Even before the lid handle broke entirely, the broken handles were uncomfortable to use with those sharp broken plastic edges digging into my fingers. Sending these lids back will leave me ill equiped in the kitchen after all the money spent to be well equiped. Further, I doubt their replacements will be any better, and they will probably need replacement every 90 days! Much as I love the Circulon pans, these lids make them a bad purchase. I would not buy this product again. Hopefully this review will help you make a good decision about Circulon pans and their bad lids.

"I love this pot!", I am so glad that I purchased this pot from Amazon.com! I have ordered a few Circulon pots and skillets, and I am pleased with all of them. This pasta pot is perfect for cooking a pasta dish for two (or three). You don't have to drag out your giant pasta cooker when cooking for just a couple people. Plus, using this pot with the collander built into the lid, you don't have to wash the pot and your collander. I wondered whether water would take forever to come to a boil (due to the holes in the lid), however, I was pleased to find out that it wasn't an issue at all. I would highly recommend this pot to anyone looking for a quality all-in-one pasta pot with collander. Plus the non-stick finish makes it easy to clean.
